Why did you start to write?

I started to write, so I could get my anger && sadness (more of anger) out on paper.

Because I heard about Nano.
Weird, but true: I was browsing the forum (WI) and I landed upon The Writers' Guild (the thread). I either clicked on a random page ro it was the newest, but one of the posts (Shadow's) had 'Nanowrimo' in it. Interested, I looked it up. Then I wrote a novel.
Since then I call myself a writer. xD

Because I wanted to remember my ideas. I think I've always been a writer at heart, but I didn't actually be a literal writer until I was about eight, when I tried to write an American Dragon fanfic. xD

I don't really know. xD I think it was because I have always dreamt of having a book published or something and I just loved creative writing and making up characters and stuff.

I think it was mostly because in grade four I got chosen to go to a writing conference, and afterwards, I wrote a short story. I decided, that from then on I would be a writer, I guess. I didn't start writing anything longer until about two years ago - grade seven, when I met a girl named Rachel who convinced me and my friend Alyssa to write a novel with her. We agreed, and so Something Magic was born, and we're still writing it now. It's almost 40000 words long, and still not done.

We had to write a short story in 5th grade and mine kinda just kept going and going and going... it's terrible, and only a little more than 19 pages long, and I tried to copy basically everything from Redwall and twist it just enough so that it wasn't quite the same, so... yeahhh... XD
