So... I am currently a member of the YWP site and planning to set my goal at 20-30K words, and as soon as I turn 13 (three days before it starts rolleyes

) I'm gonna join the main site too, although I don't exactly have high hopes for 50K at the moment. But hey, you never know.

Now, the plot... Well, that's a bit of a dilemma at the moment. XP It's likely to be sci-fi, and include the future, aliens, alternate dimensions, or some combination of the three. Ideas, anyone?

UPDATE 9/20: Okay, I've got the vague beginnings of a plot. Here's what I put on YWP:

All I know so far is that it's probably going to take place in the future. Also there might be other planets and alternate dimensions involved. Also possibly time travel and molecular deterioration. And likely a scavenger hunt-type thing as well.

Possible title: Dimension Five. Or something like that, anyway.

Now... I need more detail in my plot. tongue

Haha, I know you're already writing a story about them. xD But fanfics are allowed, soo . . .

It'd be cool, but I'm trying to make my novel an original work and somewhat serious, in case it's ever good enough to get published. Which I doubt. But still, you never know. cheesy

Yay, my mom's gonna try NaNoWriMo too! She hasn't written since I was like five, though. XD She posted on Facebook asking for plot ideas and now she's got one that's waaaay more developed than mine. *sigh* She also got someone else to sign up, though, so that's cool. Smile
