Happy Birthday!

I have an idea.

I think we should have a birthday section. xD Like, a section where people post happy birthday threads, and at the beginning of the month, I (or someone else who wanted to) would make a big thread with everyone who's birthday is that month's name in it, so if people don't get a thread, they still have that. (:

And maybe there could be like, prayers at the bottom of the thread.

But as for the prayers, I personally think we should just keep those in the Jesus Freak Club. I know that it made me uncomfortable to see that kind of thing when I wasn't religious, so I can imagine how some of our members may feel uncomfortable with that too.

Agreed to the letter. Especially the prayer part, 'cause I'm athiest. Birthday wishes, maybe?

But yeah. Great idea all the same. ^.^

I think that'd be a cool idea! I do love the idea for the prayers, but I'm with Mo on how it might make people feel awkward. So yah. xD The birthday wishes would be a nice alternative to that, though!

Obviously, I love the prayer idea, but atheists would feel... uncomfortable, so I could just make a part of the Jesus Freak Club to list the birthdays.

I love the birthday idea, but the prayers, not so much. Like Katt, I'm atheist, and I'd really prefer if they were kept to the JFC.

I'm for it all. Prayers or not, whatever.

Hmm . . . let's keep it here, but put a link in the stickied thread in the mod lounge, and post to say you updated it.

The idea sounds awesome, but like a lot of other people already said, I think we should leave out the prayers. I'm a not-particularly-religious Jew, and I'm not like against Christians or anything, but I don't think we should put prayers.

Hmm, well, a prayer request thread on its own might be okay. Just as long as we didn't actually have it connected to a thread that atheists and people of non-Christian religions might be seeing, too.
