This weekly debate went on a holiday vacation. . .
Hello, peoples of the enormousity that has become Twig. Today, you get to argue about what holiday is best. Is it Christmas, or Halloween? Or even something other than these two holidays of obvious giving?
(Best I could think of on such a short notice xD.)

If you watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, you get both holidays in one. xD

I think Christmas wins.. Presents, Hot Chocolate, Christmas cheer, decorations, Jesus's Birthday...
Halloween; Dress up and get candy.

Yep, Christmas wins ;D To add to Amanda's list; Christmas usually gets the whole family together, whilst Halloween doesn't
Re: This weekly debate went on a holiday vacation. . .
I disagree with all of you.
Do you get to dress up like whatever you want on Christmas? Do you get to run around asking strangers for candy until who knows how late at night? No. You don't.
Halloween.

Halloween.
Some towns have a time people have to stop.
So, I have to stop at 7 o'clock at night, making it a lot less fun. And, I have to start in the day when it's still bright. It's not very fun.

True lolz. I bet somebody, somewhere has done that
Re: This weekly debate went on a holiday vacation. . .
I love Halloween the most. It's the one night that I can be anyyyooooneee I want!
Oh, and I get to run around in the middle of streets in the icy cold, do everything I was ever told not to do (like take candy from strangers), it's an excuse to act stupid, and of course... HORROR MOVIES!!! Gotta love that feeling you get when you're in your friend's creepy basement after a watching a scary movie. XP And autumn's my favourite season, so...
Ooh, and I feel so pro when I'm the only one brave enough to go alone inside a haunted house with some random stranger dressed up as Jigsaw. XPP But I had my ninja suit, so I was safe.

True. Our neighborhood stops around 8, so my parents won't open the door for anybody else, but there are always the random older teenagers who shouldn't even be asking for candy, cause I think it's mainly for the kids. My friend and I didn't even go out this year, but...
I like Christmas better. You get off of school, which is all I want.

Well, on one hand, Kiri technically shouldn't celebrate Christmas.
But you get to stay home from school, get presents *cough*morevideogames*cough* and generally has that nice holiday feel.
She does anyways.
On the other hand, Halloween satisfies my ultimate craving for Snickers, Skittles, and all the chocolate bars I can stuff down my windpipe. And caramel. Mm.
But Kiri doesn't dress up anymore and it doesn't have that nice holiday feel. And you don't get to stay home from school. Boo.
But the candy.
Yes, Kiri's a sugar-holic. It's all about the marshmallows and cookies and peanut butter and chocolate for her. And caramel.
I stand relatively neutral. Slightly leaning towards Halloween, hence the candy rant. Yes, you get candy on Christmas, but it's the entire point of Halloween.

I like Christmas more than Halloween.
... but I still love Halloween. 8D I just like Christmas more. xD
For Sophie's && Harmony reasons, and also, there's usually snow: which means snowmen, snowball fights, and hot chocolate. Sophie already posted hot chocolate, though. x3
I like Christmas because I love being able to get warm and cozy, talk with the family, presents, AMAZING FOOD (xD), Jesus' birthday (I know not everyone believes in him. ), and just the fun of it.
