Sam jumped whne amnother vampire came up behind us. I pushed her behind me.
"What buissness do you have on our property?" The vampire asked.
"We didn't know we were off our property. Our property is just over the river." I said coldly.

I snarled unwillingly and kneeled down beside the newborn. She was curled up into a ball, helpless. I'd guess she was about...13? And was just bitten a few months ago. I remembered my days as a newborn, and shuddered. Worst times of my life. I held out my arms, and she immediately jumped into them. Mature newborn, I guessed. She began to blubber and cry, if she could. I felt sorry for her, so I decided to take her back to the tribe. I looked over at the other two. "If you want to live, I would come with me."

The vampire snarled. I snarled back. I don;'t know why, but I was angry at him. Before I could stop her, Sammy was behind the vampire, tapping him on the back.

I snuck out from behind Tyler and tapped the man on the back. I was going to ask him why he was angry with us, why couldn't we be friends? I waited for him to answer.

"But, we didn't and wouldn't, hurt anything. We didn't know we were off our territory." I said calmly. "Why can't we be friends?" I asked.

I came up next to Sammy and put my arm around her shoulderes, pulling her closer to me.

Overprotective dummy, I thought about Tyler.

"Join what?" I asked, before Sam could say anything. I wanted to know what we were getting into.

I looked at Tyler angrily, wishing he would stop trying to anger this man. Shut up already! I grimaced at my true mate.

"Okay. We will join you." I said, sounding defeated. My hand left Sam's shoulders, and held onto one of her hands.

"Would you show us around?" I asked pollitely. I was glad Tyler said we would join them.

"We need to get Stephen," I said to Samantha. We were a small coven and Stephan was like our father in most ways.

I heard talking. "Jason, what's going on?" I went outside. "What're they doing here?"

"Hopefully." I muttered. I'd suffered the consequences when the leader of my old coven had refused to come to the new coven. I'd had to kill him. But let's not think about that now. I waited for the two vampires to get their leader, and in the meantime, I asked some questions to the newborn. "What is your name?" I asked.
"Bree...Bree Phearson." She replied simply. Her voice was a sweet smooth tinkle, something I hardly ever heard.
"How long have you been a vampire?" I asked calmly.
"So that's what I am?" She asked rhetorically. "I woke up today like this. My throat hurts, too." She told me this very calmly, not what I would expect.
"That's because you need blood." At the alarmed look on her face I added more. "You don't have to harm humans, you can use animals. Your eyes are a blood red, and the more animal blood you drink the more they turn to the color of my eyes." I told her.
"Okay." She said, trusting me completely.
I heard Jessi. "Newcomers." I told her, turning lightning-fast. "They're joining the tribe."

I ran with Sam back home to get Stephen.

When we got heom, I ran to get Stephen. "Stephen?"

"Yes, Sammy?" I asked when Samantha approached.

"We met a tribe of vampires, they are like us. Tyler adn I are joining them, we wanted to see if you would join?" I replied to him.

"Well, I think that is a good idea." I said. "Take me to them."

"Okay." I took Stephen to where Tyler was standing, and we all ran back to the man.
"We're back." I said softly.

"Sorry, Bree." I said, and rested her on the ground.
She dusted herself off, and wiped the dirt left over on her face off.

I smiled "Of course." As soon he turned back around, I glared at them. I always hated newcomers. For some reason, I wasn't sure why, I just didn't trust them.

"Thirsty?" I guessed.
