Layout...?

Are you guys planning on adding a background? If you arent i think you should, its a bit plain (No offense)

I like the color palette of this. :/ A background *a* takes time to load, and *b* wouldn't go well with the theme. We have a nice theme and changing it without actually /changing it for the worse/ would be hard.
On MyBB you can have different themes to choose from, for each person. *Yet another reason to switch to MyBB*

Regardless, I see your points. xD Miya, that's a good idea, though I don't know what it would be of and Ari's right that it would take time to load. If some more members (not counting mods cus they have to approve it xD) see the idea and like it, then I shall bring it up for discussion in the mod office.

In regards to MyBB - there's potentially a change coming up some time around the end of summer, because that's when our domain name expires, but I know nothing for sure. If my parents allow it I shall, but currently it's under discussion (I hope xD). I'll find out their answer anywhere between now and April 25th.

Interesting. ^^ Well, I'd hope that it'd work. And if really needed, I could try and make a whole new theme for the forum, 'cause there's a forumotion skin thing. xD ^^

They look wierd. I like the solid, pale colors for backgrouds.
But thats just my opion

I must say I agree with Noah.
You're supposed to be looking at the text on the page, not the pretty pictures behind it.
Not to mention I really like the simplicity of the layout. I think the buttons and the banner are all the pictures we need.
No background, please. (Or if it's possible, a theme without one we can change it to if we want.)

But on the subject of backgrounds, I myself don't mind tiled ones... as long as they're seamless. 'Cause then it looks more like one uniform texture and not a picture abruptly cutting off into a clone right next to it.

That's what I mean, I guess, Katt - it's just... well, tiled backgrounds tend to be annoying. xDDD Some can be awesome, though.

Um, yep. :D I'd guess it'd be the same color theme (blue + white) if I made it though, right? Basically I'd edit an existing theme to make it nice... even though phpBB isn't my piece of cake. xD

If I may have some input though, I'll throw in my 2 cents worth.
Blue and white would be good, even if the blue was alittle darker maybe, IDC.
But another possible color could be orange. Like the eggswillbedragons background color

I do like that. ^^ Just based on itself, at least. We'd probably need to test it before letting it be the official design, cus it might not end up looking so great when we put it in. xD Not that I'm expecting it not to, but there's that possibility, ya know?
