I think those colors are pretty together Ari!! But they might be a little dark... I dunno, you probably know more about this than I do xD

Oh, I love that! ^^ The colors look so nice together. The only not-so-positive thing I'd have to say is that the whiteness kinda looks awkward, when everything else is colored like that . . . could it be colored the same minty green as the part around it?

I changed it a bit - it's still not totally the same color, but there's very little contrast.

Hmm . . . maybe the icons to show whether there's new posts and stuff could match that, too? As it is they kinda match, but maybe they could be the exact same color as that purply blue, and then when there's new posts they turn orange to match the topic buttons?

It looks the same, only a slightly darker blue for me...

Jade, if you look carefully you'll notice lots of changes. I got rid of the silly rounded corner images (nothing which non-coders would notice, but they annoy me) and replaced them with a border radius, I changed some images, made the bars nicer, added a light white gradient on lots of stuff...

Okay, that seems cool. I can help you if needed, but I think I'm not going to upload it to hitskin just yet - there's actually some kind of file which is also supposed to work... I could give you that, as it would mean it wouldn't be released to the public (so not just anyone could take it).

I like the idea, but like what Ari and Shad said, it would take al ittle longer to load. But I still do like the ideas of a background.

Jess, have you seen the layout I've made? I actually /removed/ images 'cause it was non-css3 compliant, so it takes a shorter time to load.
