Five
A little boy
Wrapped up warm
Safe and sound
In his mother's arms

Fifteen
He hangs out with friends
Happy and without a care
He wants to stop time
Right then and right there

Twenty-five
He watches her walk
Toward him with grace
In her beautiful white gown
And a smile on her face

Thirty-five
He opens his arms
For his third little girl
She takes her first steps
And spins his whole world

Forty-five
His first baby girl
Is moving away
A single tear falls
And turns his world gray

Fifty-five
He holds his first grandchild
So tiny, so small
Life is how it should be
Another tear falls

Seventy
He lays in a nursing home
With his family by his side
They sit and they cry
As they watch him close his eyes
