Chris sat down, bored out of his mind. He glared at me as he walked past.

I stayed quiet, rolling my eyes at Chris. He acted like more of a diva than I could understand.

Chris just sat down.

Chris nodded. "Yeah, sure..." he said, moving over.

I looked up, through my lashes, and glasses, and said, "Yeah..." and moved over. I have to move the ruffles of my skirt out of the way.

I said "thanks."

tim said "thanks. by the way i like your ruffles."

Chris nodded. "No problem."


I smiled a bit, "Uh... Yeah, thanks..." loss of words hanging over my head, filling me with shame.
