The Case of the Changing Mirror

One morning I awoke only to see,
The person in the mirror was no longer me.
I looked and beheld the strangest of sight,
A lion with a face as black as night.
He glowed with a mane that lit up the sky,
As golden as could be, why oh why?
Oh I see, protecter needs me,
So my body, I gave to thee.
Protecter knows best when I do not,
So to his advise, I quickly sought.
Oh lion, Oh lion, what do you see?
"I see an evil looking at thee"
What do you mean! I asked with a sigh,
"Fateful sins to thee, cry master cry,"
I wondered for a moment and then I fell,
Oh dear protecter, please do tell!!
"Look master, look! See for yourself,
It stands over there, right on the shelf."
I looked and beheld the horrific sight,
A knife laid still, blood from a fight.
Oh dear protecter!!! What do you see?
"I see an animal, trying to slay thee."
Is this animal bad, oh lion of thine?
"It is a demon, not the least kind."
Oh protecter where did it strike?
"I will tell, master, but you will not like.
It peirced your heart, through and through,"
Oh my protecter, what do I do!!!??
"Take the knife oh master, oh master,
Here it comes, faster, much faster,"
I grabed the knife, only to see,
The person in the mirror, was finally me.
