When we get to MyBB....
Would it be possible to be able to choose the colors for our names?

I'm not sure whether or not it's possible, but I'm not sure if that would be the greatest idea... The colour of our names represent our usergroups, so it would be disorganized if we all had different colours.

Well, that could be like our rank or something.... or we could keep hvaing the writing-related ranks and Moderator or Administrator could be written under our avvie.

Hm... True. I guess if it's decided we get to pick our colours, it'll just take some getting used to.

Technically you could have it like that, but I don't think that having username colors by how many posts you have would be a good idea - it'd just endorse spam. But yes, it'd be possible.

No, I meant like...
Keri likes red. Her username could be red. But I like purple. So mine could be purple and hers red even though we're both moderators.

Oh, I musta misread your last post.
Anyway, I don't know if that /is/ possible.
I also don't like the idea. xD But if it's needed, I can go and search through the MyBB forums for a plugin.

Re: When we get to MyBB....
MyBB can do anything. Even if it does take a plugin.
Not like I'd know, though. xD Ari's obviously the expert here, not me. If we find something that does let us do that, though, it'll definitely be something we can discuss.

Perhaps the MODERATORS could choose the color of their name? That way we would know that if they had a colored name, they are mods.

Re: When we get to MyBB....
Well, I'd personally prefer to have that capability for all or none. Because by your reasoning, then nobody else should be able to have a colored username, and if that weren't the case then there'd be no good reason that the other members couldn't change their colors as well.
Re: When we get to MyBB....
This is what I see -
If only the moderators can change colors, then there's no color for the newspaper group or the chatterboxes or the original members or the hotheads or the mods-in-training or the featured members.
The colors are something, in my opinion, which you earn with a rank. It helps you notice who's who. If only mods could have colors, you'd know who were mods but nothing else. If everyone could have colors, it'd be pointless to even have a group for featured members - and being in that group is one of the rewards; having the color is one of the rewards.
I'm still totally against this, if you didn't notice. xD
