"Yay!"I cheered,eyes glittering. Then,I realized what was after second period- which was the period we were in- it was lunch."Sit with me at lunch?I sit at the furthest table at the right, near the back doors."I smiled,and glanced at my phone. Three minutes till the late bell,and math was on the next floor.Luckily, the elevator was nearby,so I could wait for David's answer.

After hearing David's answer,I smiled,nodded my head, and then ran off to math,so I wouldn't be late.

I walked back to my locker before lunch,per request of David. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the picture. It was absolutely beautiful..and it was..me?Yes,it had to be me...the blue streaks in the hair, the smile, it was me. I gasped when I saw my locker slightly open,and opened my locker fully,pulling out a rose.I shut my locker,and glanced at the picture..The rose was the same as the one in the picture! I gasped,and tucked the picture carefully in my folder,and both the picture and the rose in my tote bag, and ran off to lunch,astonished. When I got there,I quickly picked up an edible looking salad,and rushed over to my table.David was already there. Setting the salad to the side, I grinned and said "David..Did you draw this amazing picture,and leave me this rose?"I pulled out both the folder containing the picture,and the rose,and smiled.

"Yes,I think it's amazing!"I said,grinning happily.I sat down,picking up the rose and twirling it's stem in my fingers,making the whole flower spin in a clocckwise motion."It's so realistic,and thoughtful,and well drawn."

I walked around outside of the school,whistling softly. Today was a really good day,and truthfully,I didn't feel like leaving school. Home was too boring. At least at school,I'd have people to talk to. As I was thinking,I accidentally tripped over a rock.I sighed,and decided to just go and sit cross legged in the grass,where I wouldn't get hurt.So there I sat.

I turned my head to the side,just in time to see David sit next to me and say"Hello." In response,I smiled,and said "Oh,Hey David. How was the rest of your day?"Suddenly realizing I had just tripped,I took my bag off my shoulder, and began to search through it,making sure the rose,and my school papers I was too lazy to put in my folder weren't crushed,or shredded to bits or something. "Wow...I'm slow to realize things today.." I thought.

As I had waited for David's answer,I had kind of zoned out, singing quietly under my breath.And not to brag,but I don't have too bad of a singing voice,too. So, when David asked me "So, you wanna get a milkshake from the ice cream parlor down the street or something?"
I had to blink,and think about what he said. Not because I was shocked or didn't want to go,just because I zoned out. Woww...I must seem really rude right now..I thought, blushing. So,I said"I'm really sorry,I zoned out.In fact,I'd love to go for a milkshake."After I said this,I hoped I didn't sound too eager or anything..I didn't want to send off the wrong impression.

Giggling slighty,I took his hand,got up quickly and then courtsied,pretending I had one of those big poofy gowns on. "Lead me to the Ice Cream Parlor, fair prince David!"I said,talking in an extremely high falsetto voice and trying my best to sound stuck up and annoying.I failed miserably,and started giggling,trying not to start hysterically giggling.

Still keeping up my clueless princess act, just because it was fun, I tilted my head to the side and said in my 'princess voice'"Prince David... why is the carriage we're riding in not pulled by a horse,with a driver up front to push around and make fun of?I frowned,and attempted to seem scared, as if I really were confused. It failed,though.After I said this,I began laughing,realizing I sounded ridiculous.
