Just then Troy was about to lean in for a kiss, not that I was going to. I just didn't feel comfortable with it. I probabley would have said something like, 'I'll be right back...' And went up to the kitchen only to 'get some more food' [more like waste time thinking]. I started to turn my head to the right, where a small lamp was, when Jake appeared.

Shocker.... Not in a million years would I think he would pop up at this moment. Just then I thought about it, how long did I know Troy? And did he even have a good reputation? Not like that was the first thing on my mind, but I couldn't help but... wonder.

I didn't want this one-sided relationship to go on for a while, even since I didn't even know this stranger. But then again, who else could I go to? It's not like I was some wanted girl, truly, I think this was the first time I've ever been loved. Even though, once again, I didn't love Troy. I felt good to know I was loved, just.... I couldn't say all that much. I didn't know where my life was going, even though it didn't have much to go to. Since I considered it was now in the cold & dark ruins, where part of my life was shattered in peices like glass.

I was about to lean in and kiss Emma when Jake sspoke "What the heck, dude!" I jumped where did he come from "How did you get here?" I asked, he was about to walk away "Jake, do you have any idea that there is a tornado out there." I said.

I smirked as he jumped up, looking at Emma strangely. "This is Brightfield... Don't be surprised by what people can do. I mean it's not like we all have powers," I chuckled sarcastically. "And I've been through a tornado before. Don't you remember it? I think you were stuck as a puppy or a fox or whatever," I shrugged. "Anyways, I have some stuff to do outside anyways. Bye," I shrugged, looking down at my hoodie, before walking outside, where I was instantly pelted with rain and wind, but I kept walking as if nothing happened.
