Cray; District Four: Cray nodded and looked down at his food, his fork clinking against his plate as he toyed with the expensive meal, no longer very hungry. "So... What are you going to miss most? Back home, I mean?"

Lark; District Nine: Like the spoiled brat she was, Lark aimed an angry kick at his shin, not caring whether or not her foot connected. "Why not?"

Barley; District Eleven: "No wonder Capitol people are so fat," Barley mumbled through a mouthful of food. "I would be too, if I always had this much to eat."

Harog Crow; District 2

"Oh, really," Harog said sarcastically. "I don't think so."

Ondine Fermanagh; District 4

There was so much Ondine missed about home - her mother, her father, and her younger sister and older brother. She missed her best friend, Kathleen. And then there was Collin, who seemed to think of her as more than a close friend. She would miss fishing with her father in the skiff and cooking the day’s catch with her mother. Then there were long walks on the beach during vivid sunsets with Collin. Ondine would miss the wonderful moments she shared with her siblings. Sometimes, her little sister would tow her along the beach, collecting seashells and constantly squealing, “Look, Ondine!” over every shell. After school, she would race at the beach with her brother, who was a year older than her. Their friends would come and cheer as they attempted to find out who was the fastest on land or in the sea. Usually, she won, but her brother was a fierce competitor. At night, they would all create a bonfire and hang out. She would miss the mornings with mist clinging to the rocky cliffs and the seagulls soaring high above, and the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks. It was extremely difficult to pick one aspect of her once perfect life. And because she couldn’t pick just one, she knew exactly what to say.

“Everything.”

Hermes Silver; District 9

“Because you’re still a member of District 9,” Hermes remarked, rubbing his shin.

Shore Evergreen; District 10

Shore shrugged. "Right now it isn't, but once we get into the arena..." his voice trailed off.

Magnolia Landen; District 11

Magnolia snorted. “Yeah, seriously.”

Cray; District Four: Cray half smiled. "Good answer." His voice was quiet, but he managed to hold it steady. "How far will you go to go back there?"

Lark; District Nine: "So?" Lark shrieked. "My father is the mayor of District Nine! I have rights!"

Barley; District Eleven: Barley sighed. "I hate to think of all those starving kids back home, though... It's just not right. We're pretty much doomed to die, food or no food. They've got so much to live for."

“Well, you’re wrong,” Harog snapped viciously.

Ondine Fermanagh; District 4

“I would do everything I could,” answered Ondine. “I don’t want to lose my life so the Capitol people can be entertained for a few weeks.”
Hermes Silver; District 9

Hermes rolled his eyes. “No, you don’t. If you actually had rights, you wouldn’t be here in the first place.”

Shore Evergreen; District 10

The delicious taste of Capitol mashed potatoes filled his hungry mouth as he finished off the remnants from his plate.

Magnolia Landen; District 11

“Yeah…” her voice trailed off. “That’s why we really need to try to win. If we succeed, everyone at home will receive food parcels to end their hunger. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could actually do something to help the situation?”

Cray; District Four: He gazed out the window, twisting a warm roll in half and then dropping the bread onto his plate. "Who does?"

Lark; District Nine: "Shut up!" she shrieked, kicking him in the shin. "Shut up shut up shut up!"

Barley; District Eleven: "Yeah..." he murmured wistfully. "If only. I'm sure the winner is going to be one of the Careers again."

Lark; District Nine: Lark screamed in wordless frustration and kicked him again. She wasn't used to being treated this way.

Barley; District Eleven: "But we can try, yeah?" He smiled hopefully at her. "Allies?"

Ondine also closed her eyes, picturing the beautiful sea. Feeling nostalgic, her heart ached. Once again, beloved memories from her past came to mind: Spending time by the sea with her friends, her brother, her father--
"What about your family?"

Hermes Silver; District 9

Grunting in pain, Hermes exclaimed, "Why can't you just be calm?"

Magnolia Landen; District 11

Magnolia hesitated. She hardly knew this person, and now she was expected to join forces with him! But he seems so nice, she thought. He wants to help his people, too.
"Sure."

Cray; District Four: "Oh, they'll get on without me," Cray said with a shrug. "I've got three older brothers and a younger sister, so they'll be able to keep making boats almost as quickly as they did when I was there. It'll be like I was never there." He smiled wryly, tearing a roll in half.

Lark; District Nine: "Because I - am - about - to - die!" Lark screamed, kicking him with each word to add emphasis.

Barley; District Eleven: Barley smiled in relief and held out a hand to shake. "Maybe, between the two of us, we can get those kids something to eat, eh?"

(Sorry, Purpleoranges, but we already have all the tributes. If you post in the RP discussion section, though, I'm sure someone would be willing to make a PRP with you. Smile
