Mitzi chuckled, her eyes jumping once up to the ceiling with gravity pulling them right back down to Earth. "It was bound to happen," she agreed. Twilight may have been a good series, but it wasn't great enough to read more than once through, or at least in her opinion. Then again, when was the last time Mitzi read a book more than once when it wasn't for school? Keep on thinking, anyone who was would be standing around for a good long while searching for the answer that didn't exist.

The moment Mitzi left her head, she noticed her older sister had said something slightly irrelevant to the topic at hand. Or, rather, she had muttered it. The younger sister cocked her head to the side and let an eyebrow lift itself towards her hairline. "What?" Mitzi requested a repetition. While waiting she flicked a glare towards the group of boys—no, not really a group, there were only two of them—who were most likely the cause of the random speech. Though chances were if there was another guy nearby at the time of something unusual or negative occurring, and Mitzi didn't already know that it was someone else's fault, she was going to blame them, so that should have been expected of her.

Mitzi let her eyebrow inch up a little higher in suspicion. "Okay," she replied simply, though her mind didn't stray from the subject. There was something on Becca's mind, and she wanted in on it. She continued to tell herself it had something to do with those two boys. A list of countless possibilities was reading itself off in her mind for a good five minutes until Mitzi considered the fact that her older sister wasn't as anti-boy as she was, if she was anti-boy at all. Sometimes she wished people would open their eyes to the fact, but she preferred not to mess with others' philosophies. Still, Mitzi stared at the two boys for an extra moment before facing forward again. "Do you know what they're serving at lunch today?" she asked to spark conversation again.

Mitzi nodded plainly. "Oh—" she'd began to say, but before she could continue she found herself choking on secondhand smoke. She hacked for a few seconds until finally asking in a hoarse voice, "Don't you just love it when we get served some charcoal cake?" On the downside, Mitzi couldn't claim that for her own, as charcoal cake was a term used in this full song she once got to play in a Hallmark card for Mother's Day, something about a Mr. Mom. "Then again," she coughed for the last time, furthermore speaking normally. "Compared to some things they've served before, that might not be too bad..."

Becca walked by the boys and smiled. She was pretty, but taken advantage of by many. Her smirk led to a slight frown as she crashed into a table. Thank goodness nobody saw, or she'd be the whole laughing stock of the school.

Mitzi looked up and smiled at her sister. "Too late," she said. Quickly she noticed Becca had taken on a devilish, maybe even mischievous face, and soon got the idea that she may be planning to do something. Or maybe those were just her suspicions acting up again. Curious and nosy, as she always was, Mitzi tried to look the way that she'd turned to see what was going on, but was quickly distracted by some other group of boys walking by and had to glare at them just once before returning her attention to... Well, wherever Becca had looked off to.

Mitzi thought she'd caught one of the guys return her gaze and quickly shot him a second glare of daggers before looking back to Becca, who'd made her blunder during Mitzi's moment of distraction. The strawberry blonde simply couldn't stand it when any boy showed any potential interest. Maybe some people found her pretty, something she personally denied, but due to past experiences with the alien species, she now considered men a waste of time. One day she'd vowed to herself to stick with her girls and never look back, nor would she speak or write in favor of love if it didn't exist. That was her solid philosophy.

Quickly she was somehow pulled out of her thoughts and focused once more on Becca. Mitzi observed that a frown had grown on her face instead of the smile she'd had before. "You okay?" she asked to check on her.

Mitzi smiled a little, glad that nothing was wrong. She always felt protective and caring towards her fellow girl friends, especially in a world filled with those pesky beasts lingering at almost every corner that could ever be turned. Who knew what they would do next? Never could she let anything happen or slip by from beneath her nose, as some of those really sneaky ones would sometimes try to do and typically be successful at—or at least successful when not confronting Mitzi.

Curiosity and excitement overcame those grave thoughts of hers when she saw an almost evil grin find a seat on Becca's face. "What's on your mind this time?" she asked with an anticipating tone as her eyebrows rose, creating wrinkles in her forehead. Usually whenever she saw her older sister take on that look, it meant she had a plan, and it was almost always a fun one.

Becca suddenly looked at her sister. "Those boys over there. They seem to know what we have but we don't know about it. So I have a plan to steal the intercom later today at lockers. Then I'll scream into it: Why are you following me?! This is Becca! You're following me a lot! So stop it!"

Mitzi then lowered one of her eyebrows to take on a confused look. The accusation she made sent her gaze sending daggers once more at the previous group of boys. Stalkers, eh? Those were her favorite boys to get in the faces of, since they were the ones she hated the most. Why them in particular, one might ask? They always think they're all that, sneaking up on people and figuring out all of this information about the people they stalked and all that jazz. Of course, they were oblivious to the fact that they were the dumbest of all. If they had anything in those hollow skulls of theirs, they would have gone off and chosen to do something else with their life than be creepers and being the source of a bunch of bull crap.

The rest of Becca's plan came to her ears, and a grin formed, almost identical to the one her sister wore. Mainly the difference was how Mitzi's came out more mischievous than mean. Still, both of them had the same thinking behind them. "Beautiful," she complimented her sister's thinking. "And how are you gonna make sure you don't get caught, assuming you don't want to be?" Mitzi queried. She remembered learning that plotting how to commit the crime was fairly easy, but what to do after was incredibly difficult, so she wanted to hear what Becca had in mind.

Mitzi blinked, wondering how deep a guitar pick could cut into a wrist. Last she checked she didn't bring a knife to school, and her scissors wouldn't be able to do the job without causing far too much pain than she was willing to cause for this plan. If she used her paper thin silver one, that might cut real well, or at least with the least amount of pain as the price. Mitzi ended up nodding in agreement, a goofy smile taking over her face. Of course a Death Note reference was bound to come up, though the younger sister of the bunch personally preferred Cardcaptor Sakura in spite of its predictability and slight cheesiness. Nobody ever found seventy episodes of a single series of anime anymore.

Quickly a little method formed in Mitzi's mind concerning how she would cut herself. "Do you think I should be in another room, scream in overreaction from the cut and then go to the office to further develop a scene?" she asked, wondering if it was a good or bad idea.

Mitzi lifted her gaze at the words, her plans almost carelessly pushed to the side with a better one. Or at least she assumed it was better, considering sharpened shark teeth weren't anything to underestimate, that was one thing for sure. The fifteen year old nodded in response to what her sister had said. "Yeah, I know that necklace of yours," she replied with a nod of her head, some of her strawberry blonde hair jumping out of its hiding spot behind her ears and into her face. Briskly and irritably she swept them back where they weren't as noticeable. "I bet it would probably cut well enough." A smile of approval formed on Mitzi's face. "Where do you reckon I should do the cutting? Just at my locker?" It sounded like a stupid question, but there were two things that kept Mitzi from thinking like that. Number one was the fact there was no such thing as a stupid question or answer, only the stupid people behind them. Number two was considering that when a plan is in the works, every little detail counts.

"Actaully, I just want you to cut yourself any place you find near the office. But, we could get in trouble. It's a risk we're going to take no matter what to find out something." Becca smiled lightly, her eyes a slight gaze. "Here. Take the shark tooth. Go across the office and cut yourself. I'll go in screaming you've been cut by a stranger." she handed Mitzi the shark tooth, closing her bag and sighing.

Mitzi nodded in understanding. Honestly she thought it would be a little bit risky to do it right in front of the office. Who knew who could walk by and be a little tattle tale about it? Yet something told her she didn't know the entire plan, so she didn't give any objections to what her sister had said. All Mitzi did was look up and nod to whatever she told her, giving a hummed ""Mm-hm" whenever necessary. Without hesitation she took the shark tooth, carefully hiding it above her ear and behind her strawberry blonde hair (the intention was to cut her arm, not her head) and saying "On it," then taking on the task. Mitzi chose to do it while walking towards the office. Her hand lifted to where the tooth sat on her ear, and she pulled it out, moving it by her wrist as she lowered her hand—and a yelp sounded, giving Becca her cue as she halted from her walk and began to move her free hand around as if searching for something to cover up the wound.
