Only A Word

Love is only a word, just something to say
A fairy tale to tell children who think that they may
Someday fall in love or find Mr. Right
Live in a dream and never have a fight
But let me tell you right now that that is not so
They will eventually leave you; they’ll get up and go
They may love you for a time but it will not last
While they move on you’ll stay in the past
They’ll have found someone else who they love more
They’ll say loving you was nothing more than a chore
Someone nicer, someone prettier, someone brighter than you
Someone they like better is who they’ll move on to
You will keep hoping they will come back to choose you instead
But as much as they care you might as well be dead
So I am righting this down and I hope that you heard

anyways, i LOVE it! i had no idea that you were such an amazing poet! its wonderful... where do you get your inspiration?
btw i am horriiibbbllleeee at spelling and your mistake is probably just a typo anyways XD so don't feel bad at all!
