Monsters in the Closet

"No! Get it off of me!" Anna shouted, struggling to remove the baby dragon from her neck.

"Nice, Anna."

Kristen, a bit startled, launched Van Gogh (the stingray) and Nester (the dragon) into the air. "Claaaaaaara/Roooooobin!" She rather loudly replied in a slightly high pitched tone, tossing everything else onto the floor and hugging her.

"I'm not kidding! It's attacking me! A little help over here?" Anna was still flailing around on the ground.

(Sorry, had to eat.)

I smiled and huged her. "Nope." I turned around. "B!" I tackled her. "Hi."

Clara smirked at Kristen. "I gotta be right back, dragon attacking peeps," she yelled, jogging back to Anna, and pulling a large carrot out of her hidden cloak pocket. "Babeeh?"

Her dragon stopped gnawing, turned towards her, and saw the carrot. Making a purr sound and puffing out the flaps of scales around it's neck, she climbed down Anna, towards Clara, then grabbed the carrot from her hand as Clara picked it up. "Good baby."

"Thank you." Anna brushed the invisible dust off of her outfit.

Shadow cautiously opened the airplane, reading it with a skeptical eye. Burning math, hmm . . . ? This was new, she hadn't been aware that people were still doing this so late into the summer.

"Geez, why didn't anyone tell me beforehand!" she sighed. "Then I would've brought my mathbooks!"

"Hehe. Wanna see something awesome?"

"Ugh, I would have had so much fun burning biology papers," Anna groaned. "But I threw out all of my old school work in the begining of summer."

I reached into my sleeping bag and tossed Shadow one of the math text books with a smile. "They make me go to sleep," I told her.

Clara grinned at Anna. "I'm Clara. That's Kristen, mah BFF." she told her, pointing to a girl nearby with a stuffed dragon and stingray. "Sorry about my baby. They attack a lot at this age, but it's just play. You are?"

"Hm....this is an odd conversation. Very....random?"

"I'm Anna." Anna stuck out her hand to shake Clara's. "It's nice to meet you."

Kristen surveyed this with an amused look, picking up her stuffed animals and beginning to stroke them. "I'm so very sorreh." She told the two inanimate objects, eyes widening a tiny bit madly. She then preceded to place them on top of her little pile of belongings, crossing her arms and turning back to look at everyone.

"Kristen, did you just talk to your stuffed animals?..."

Clara glanced flatly at B. "WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?" Then she placed the dragon on her shoulder, and ran over to Kristen, giving her a proper hug. "Halla! Halla! Halla!" She looked around curiously. "Where's the IF i'm asuming you brought?"

An awestruck look covered Shadow's face. Hands trembling with gratitude, she accepted the mathbook thrown at her. "Thank you . . . so much . . ." She whispered. For a moment, Shadow hugged it to her chest, looking on the verge of tears . . . but then she raced outside to burn the unholy book.

Claire was unsure of how to make her very late entrance to the party. She stood right outside Twig, and finally decided on the ninja entrance. After all, she was dressed for the part. She shoved her stuff into her APG2.0 watch (all purpose gadgetron version 2 watch) and watched it compact into less than a square inch of space. /That/ never got old. Then she stepped into Twig silently, and stuck to the shadows.

Anna leaned back, a little overwhelmed as everybody moved around her.

(I have to shower and get to bed now. I'll be back tomorrow morning. Hope I don't miss much!)

Seal smiled. She had some math books next to her. "Flashback time!"

/Seal snuck into Ado's house, leaving only a basket of fruits and exotic spices, stealing all the mathbooks she could find. Seal smiled, satisfied for the random theft of the day./

Clara was bored. Cautiously, she poked Van Goh the stingray.

B frowned at Robin, then turned to Shadow. But she was gone! Outside. So B went to the very back of the buidling where nobody was and started to tumble. In the dark......B always enjoyed it when she tumbled in the dark. So nobody could see her flukes....

"Yes." Kristen replied with a smile, drawing out the word so it sounded a lot longer then necessary and tilting her head to look at her. She then turned to Clara, eyes returning to their more normal size. "Fluffeh. He's outside. "

Clara wondered if Kristen had noticed she'd poked her beloved stuffed animal. "I brought a crow I just got, this baby dragon I found on my last trip to Berk, and.... JANE!!"

Jane randomly fell out of the ceiling, landing on her back. There was evil laugher from above. Jane grinned. "Ow. Ello mates!" she greeted them, waving her hand, then sat up. A python inched out from under her pith helmet.
