Monsters in the Closet

"Heya, Nova." B grumbeled as she rubbed her sleepy eyes.

Shadow had made it back inside for Nova's grand entrance - and at this moment, she was not pleased.

Leaping to her feet, she scowled furiously. "You may be the lion king, but I'm the Twig king! I pwn you!" she growled, pointing a finger of doom. There had been no indication that Nova was actually out to usurp her position, but you could never be too careful.

Nova turned her head to B and titled her head to wonder. "Tired are we, B?" She said, finally finished picking everything up. Her head lashed over to Shadow and her coment. "Thanks for the news flash Shad, but lions pwn!! I mean what? Was that the microwave!!??" She lied, scooting over behind B to hide.

"You /fiend/!" Shadow gasped, ten times angrier than before. Eyes ablaze, she marched over to Nova and crossed her arms. "How dare you defy your king! I can have you executed, you know!"

It was an idle threat, really, but maybe it'd help teach this commoner some manners.

I angrily opened my eyes when Shadow had awoken me with her yelling. I grabbed her pants leg and pulled down, making her sit down. "Calm down," I yawned and sat up. "Thanks for waking me up," I mumbled angrily.

Nova's lion ears shot back at the comment. When B pulled Shadow down, Nova raised her fist. "Yeah!! You go B!!! I mean, oops.... Sorry Shadow, but lion king and twig king rule, Right? I mean maybe we can work together? Or you could die by my claws!! Just don't kick me out of Twig." She finished, whispering the last part. She gave Shadow a quilty smile, still hiding behind B.


(( Got to go for a bit.))

"CALM DOWN EVERYONE. BEFORE I RIP YOUR FACES OFF AND RE-ATTACH THEM TO YOUR BODY SIDEWAYS."

Shadow was silent for a moment, then she huffed. "Fine. We'll /work together,/" she grumbled unwillingly - but only because she wanted to get on everyone's good side. If there were more marshmallows, she needed to make sure she got to them first, and if anyone tried to get in her way . . .

Seal smiled and starting eating more triple chocolate donuts.

B took out her death cross, placing it on her neck. "Good."

I smiled at Shadow. "Good girl Shad!" I reached into my bag and tossed a marshmellow into her hands. I quickly hide the bag behind my back before she could get more. "You can have more when and if you keep being good!"

"Can I have one Jessi?!"

I smiled and gave B a marshmellow.

"YUSH." I boomed.

Seal froze. She spotted pure heaven. a chocolate covered marshmello from afar.

Shadow's eyes widened as she looked at the precious little object. Within a second, she had inhaled the whole marshmallow. "Can I have another? Pleeeeease?" she begged, giving Jess her cutest smile.

B gave her marshmellow to Shadow. "I'm not hungry. I'm on a diet."

Michelle, done with shaking Seal, dropped the cat. Noticing she was fine, she grumbled a chain of quiet swears before she looked at the fire. Her eyes stared in horror at crumpled ashes in the flames. In her rush, she had dropped her hot dog from the stick (which she was still holding) into the bonfire. Still clutching the roasting stick, she fell to her hands and knees in dramatic anguish. The scarred-for-life girl rose her head and wailed to the dusky sky. "N-N-N-N-NOOOOOOOOOO~!!!"

Seal sped to the marshmellow, running over Shadow. "MINEEEEEE!!!"

Rai suddenly appeared in the room. She has magical wizard skillz.
Anyways, when Rai saw all the junk food, she grappled for it.

"Give me some freaking candy!" Rai howled. She laughed . . . but she really wanted some candy.

Seal nommed on themarshmallow, and noticed there were ingredients for heaven on a stick. (okay. Get this. it's biscuit dough, with vinilla pudding inside, along with chocolate chips. You put it over the fire to cook it. BESTTHINGEVARRR)

"No!" Shadow wailed. "Mine!" Before Seal could reach her, she ate the marshmallow. "No more candy!" she got out, her mouth too full for the words to be very clear.

Rai laughed at Seal and Shadow's fight.

Then, with a sudden want of sugar, Rai pounced onto Shadow's back.

"Gimme the marshmallow!" She screamed.

I sighed and tossed Shadow the whole bag. "Don't. Go. Crazy."

(I'm such a blonde. I saw the new announcement and tried to reply to it. xD)

Shadow screamed, and as the scream left her mouth, so did the half-chewed marshmallow. She didn't pause to mourn the loss, though, scrambling immediately towards the bag Jess had put out. "GIMME!"
