it's not that I like seeing you sad
DEPRESSION
is merely a trend, don't you see?

"Behind every tear lies a story untold
Greater than that of a million raindrops"

but all you've ever wanted is
ATTENTION
the light refuses to shine on me

"With every one comes a feeling so cold,
Though pleasure nor pain will convince it to stop"

easier to ask for forgiveness than
PERMISSION
say you're sorry & i'll know it's a lie

"It hurts to cry, if not more than to live
This lie that you have been; a secret from yourself, dear"

trust me, I do love you more than anything
DID I MENTION?
