I keep trying to find where the best place to take a breath is, but the notes are slurred so it's hard to find somewhere without making it sound weird

Yeah, that can be a problem. Just do your best, and take a really quick breath in the middle if you have to, but if you can wait do.

I think there's a place I can take a breath. The solo's like two slurs. I don't know how to describe it, so I'll try to post it. xD

Hmm, yeah, I'd breathe right before the big slur. xD Otherwise you might run out of air.

You play the flute, right? Cus for, say, me - a trumpet - that solo would be insanely hard. xD

That's what you call easy for me. I think.

Yeah, I play flute. It's semi-hardish for me cuz of the tempo at which it's supposed to be played. It's kinda strange. Like it feels slow and fast at the same time. And that big slur.

Ah. Well, I'm sure it'll get easier if you keep practicing.

Yep Though sometimes I don't have a lot of time to practice, so I work on the harder songs. Then I just say "Ok, taking a breath here today" in rehersal and see how it works out. xD

What song is it for? I can't read flute music, but it reminds me of the song we're playing, Great Locomotive Chase.

Yeah, and the flute part's complicated. xP I know when we start lagging cuz I can actually play it without screwing up at least once. xD

I hate measure 54 or 57 or something where it's like a clarinet and flute solo. It's really hard. (In Great Locomotive Chase)
