Amanda kissed her head gently. "Amanda, I don't want you sick again." I muttered, leaving my hand on the back of her neck, which was still burning with fever. "Oh well, Fang."

I wrapped my arms around her nek, and burried my head inbetween her shoulder and neck.

I lifted the girl off Amanda gently, lying her somewhere else. "Fang, don't be like that." Amanda sighed, her head dropping to my shoulder. "I don't feel good; stop making me feel worse."

I whined when he moved me. The sudden movement made my head ache worse.

Amanda sneezed loudly, and I wrapped my arm around her shoulders. She looked at me, confused, but went with it. "Kara, honey, come here."

"Do you have a headache, sweetheart?" Amanda pulled the girl on to her lap and sneezed. I rubbed her shoulders.

"Shhh." Amanda looked tired... scared. "Lie down." I murmured. Without waiting for a response, she lied her head on my folded legs. As her eyes drifted close, I did something that I had never done before.
I leaned down and kissed her lips.

I curled up in a tiny ball and tried to sleep.

"I'm sorry." I said quickly. "That's not what I meant." She whispered. "I just don't want you to get sick too." I rolled my eyes, and her face approached mine as I stood up. She got on her feet as well, and, slowly, she pressed her lips to mine.

I snored. Normally I didn't, but my sinuses were blocked and that made me snore.

I rubbed her back, right where her wings intercepted her back. She lied her head on my shoulder, kissing my neck lightly. "I love you." I whispered into her ear.

"Uhm...." Amanda blushed, leaning her head on my shoulder. I left my arm around her shoulders and glared coldly at the little girl. "Kissing. Gotta problem with that?"

I struggled to make it where I was far away from him. He was scary.
