She managed to escape, then ran away again, going much faster this time.
Hylia came to a stop, then pulled on Phillip softly, putting him in front.
Aerith began running out of breath as well.

I just stood there as she ran off. I looked down and said, "I'm sorry." I started walking toward the school. I just ruined my friendship with my only friend.

Far away, she came to a stop, then dropped down on her knees, and gazed upwards, into the sky. A sigh slipped from her mouth.

I sulked into the castle and leaned against a wall. I slowly slid down the wall, and fell to the ground with a crash. I was so depressed.

I just lay there staring at the stone ceiling. Why did I do that to her? I sat up against the wall. I have to think positive! She's going to come back, and everything is going to be fine...was it?

I got into the common room. There was barely anybody in there. A few other first years were on the couch. I walked over to it and screamed, "SCRAM!" They flew off the couch just in time, because I collapsed on it. I stared into the flaming embers in the fireplace.
