"What if something, or someone's following us..?" she asked, worridely.

I grinned and kissed her head. "I regret ever hurting you." I put my arm around her shoulders. "You can remove it...if you want to," I told her.

"Okay, let's go," I muttered, heading towards where they'd disappeared. The full moon shone down on us, bathing most of the grounds in silver light, but inside the forest I knew the brightness would be obsolete.
I opened my mouth to answer, but instead a loud snarling erupted from a nearby bush. I jumped backwards, reaching for my wand with a shaking hand, but... it wasn't there.

(Can Jake get bitten? XD)
