I kicked and punched, but the big furry lump that pinned me to the ground didn't seem to feel anything. Searing pain slashed across my face and everything went black.
I heard a faint yell and glanced at Hylia, my mouth suddenly dry. I began running towards the sound.

"Alright," I said. "Are really sure? I don't want to upset you!" Why was I so worried? She said it was fine, so why wasn't that good enough?

She came to a stop, and just stared, wide-eyed. What was she to do? She had to wand with her... and she wasn't great at physical fighting...
She followed him, going as fast as she could.
"I'm sure."

I smiled. "Okay," I told her. I lead her to the common room. It wasn't even inhabited. "I think everybody is in The Great Hall eating," I said. "Do you want to sit on the couch? Or the chairs?"

Finally I spotted them, a huge wolf crouched on Jake's chest, blood dripping from its muzzle. Desperate, I pointed the wand at it and shouted the first spell that popped into my head. "Expelliarmus!" I'd heard it used by a third year once in a fight. The wolf flew off of Jake, slammed into a tree and ran into the forest, snarling. I dropped to my knees beside him, ignoring the blood that was pooling around his head and got on my robes. I grabbed his wrist, praying for a pulse. Feeble, uneven, but it was there. I breathed.

"Mmmmm...I like the chairs!" I went and sat down on one. "There's enough room for both of us," I suggested.

Aerith came running right after, letting herslef fall on her knees, right in front of Jake. "J- Jakey..?" she whispered.
Hylia walked towards them, and gently placed herself on her knees, beside Phillip. "Is he alive..?" she asked.

Suddenly I remembered the blood. "We need the nurse."

She blinked a few times, and tilted her head slightly on one side.
