Splinter theory,it was in your book.Reminds me of that myth where you're supposed to drive a wooden stake through a vampires heart to kill it.

Love the new part (just read it). For the future, would you mind posting them all in the first post? It just makes things more concise and easier to read.
I would, but the posts can only be so long, so I had to post the rest later. But on the first post, it tells you where the next chappies are.

Re: SLAYERS (a to-be novel in writing)
That means a lot to me! Thanks for the feedback!
Next chapters:
We all walked out of the military building- in slow motion, nodding to each other. Our suits were equipped with jet packs, mini rocket launchers on our shoulders, several plates of armor, enhanced footed boots, with spiked toes, little mini grenades on our palms, and 100% style. In addition, we each had holsters attached to our legs, a slot for a Rifle on our back, and a special weapon the others didn’t. Gavin’s were explosive knuckles, Trevor’s were little wrist turrets that fired rapid ion pulses. Newt’s were wrist flame throwers, and I had electrical bolt guns on the sides of my helmet.
The general now told us that we would have to prove good enough to have commando rank. So he sent us out with a group of five snipers to where a gang of vamps were last reported.
At the spot, we went up the nearest building, onto the roof, and the snipers got out their guns.
“You should go down first, sirs. we’ll cover you.”
“No, wait, my helmet’s visor can give me info. Let’s see. . . radar. . . okay, there’s a vamp right. . . there! I pointed to a building’s doorway. The snipers set up shop.
“No, you let me go!” A frantic voice said from down there. It was a girl’s. soon afterwards was a muffled thud, and she was silent.
“Newt, you get out some laser pistols.” (Pistols That fired a laser charge in a straight line, that lasted at most for two seconds.) “Gavin, get out a guardian, Trevor, get an impact.” (Impact guns fire small bursts of explosion at a fast rate.)
We all jumped down, except the snipers, of course, just when the vamps exited the building, carrying an unconscious girl, who looked no older than 20.
“Well, look, the main course has come to see us.” one said when he saw us. Gavin lashed out, and punched him in the face. What happened next was the scariest thing I’d seen in a while, that I had to turn my head. The vamp’s head was mostly gone, and a strange green liquid was everywhere. The other vamp paled, until he was whiter than white, and he dropped the girl, and started running. I fired electrical bolts at him, until he was literally glowing with electricity, then he fell, dead. I got a chance to look at the unfortunate saved. She had black hair, and was relatively taller than average. She resembled a girl I used to know, when I was a teen. She woke up, then, and screamed, but I quickly picked her up, and clamped my hand over her mouth.
“You’re safe, do you hear? We saved you! The vamps are dead!” I let go, when she seemed to have stopped. Newt incinerated the bodies, then the girl said, “How can I thank you?”
“Well, . . .-” I said, but was cut off by Gavin.
“No need to thank us, ma’am. Just doing our job.”
“But who are you?” She asked
“We. . . are the Slayers.” I said.
“Okay, but what are your names?”
“Oh, that’s Gavin, Newt, Trevor, and I’m Deckk.”
“Deckk, as in Deckk Torrin?” She asked.
“Yeah, who are you?”
“I’m Kaylea Smith.”
“Oh, I remember you! We used to know each other. . . yeah. . .”
“Well, nice to see you again.” she said, then shook the other’s hands in turn, then, the snipers shouted,
“Hey, are you guys done flirting, yet? C’mon! We don’t have all day!” I nodded to them, then they went back to the stairs, and met us back down on the ground.
“We got a transmission, from the general.” shouted the lead sniper. “Says Smith’s gone missing.”
“Smith? As in Doctor Kevin Smith?” the girl asked
“Yeah, why?” another asked
She looked nervous. “He’s my dad.” We all looked at her.
“What?!?” I asked
“Doesn’t the Smith make it obvious?” She said.
“Oh, so Smith’s married? How old is that dude?” Trevor asked
“He looks younger, he uses a lot of weird medications.” she explained, still nervous.
“Oh,-but wait, do you?”
“No. I’m 22.” she said.
“Ah, a good year.” one sniper said.
“Okay, then. . . We’ll get back to you.”
“No, but wait!” She said, but we’d already gone.
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY COULDN'T GET HIS DAUGHTER!?!” I screamed to my henchman.
“Well, sir, they were blown up by. . . commandos. . .”
“Commandos? Are you serious!?! You idiot!”
“Shut up.” the henchman said
“Shut up, or I’ll kill you, I swear!” I shouted back. “Just go watch the radar. Or are there commandos in the radar room, too?” And with that, I strode over to the radio room.
After I entered the radio coordinates, I asked the team at the abandoned warehouse how they were doing
“Not good, sir! A republic spy came, and sent a distress signal before we killed him. But Smith is still unconscious. . .”
“Oh, cut the crap, will you? Just tell me if Smith is still alive!”
“Oh, yes.” Was the other’s answer. I smiled an evil smile.
“Where is this warehouse?” I asked the lead sniper.
“Off, out of state. We’re gonna need a transport.” He replied.
“What kind of transport should we use? What could fit all of us, isn’t too slow, and won’t get caught on radar?”
The answer was a Vaun STA (Stealth Transport Aircraft). It had plenty of room for us all, flies in really high altitudes, and has a stealth mode for flying into enemy territory.
The pilot ran us through some basic deployment procedures.
“Now, when the light turns red, open the bottom hatch. When it starts flashing, jump.”
“Gotcha.” I said as I turned back to the passenger area. Gavin was sitting with a pose that said he’s thinking, Trevor was sleeping, and Newt was listening to the built-in iPod in his helmet. Our helmets were linked, so I could listen in on what was in his. I did. He was listening to Savin’ Me by Nickelback. I liked the song too, so I kept listening in, until gavin prodded me.
“The red light is on.” He said. The whole room was now in a red shade, and it was kinda creepy. I closed the link between Newt’s and my helmet
“Wake Trevor.” I said as I opened the hatch in the floor of the plane. Just as trevor woke up, the light began flashing, and i said, “Jump.” and jumped down the hatch. Soon enough, the others joined me. As I began my decent, time slowed as my mind began thinking faster. I contemplated where the exact place would be to start my jet pack. But just then, Gavin opened a link with my helmet.
“Trev’s jet pack is malfunctioning. I’m gonna go save him.”
“Okay,” I said, as he started jetting downwards. He grabbed a screaming (At least I thought so) Trevor, and held him as the decent continued. Once the ground was pretty close, Gavin dropped Trevor.
I opened a link with them.
“Okay, the warehouse is just over there, so start running.”
“Okay, chief.” Newt said, as he started to dash for the building a half mile or so off.
In minutes, we were almost to the building. Trevor fired ion pulses at the edges of the doors, and in seconds, they fell. After inside, I motioned for the others to be quiet. I activated a GPS on my helmet screen, and it showed the layout of the building.
I motioned with my hand to cut the main comm for speaking to non-commandos, and open the link with each other. Once my helmet display showed them all connected, I said,
“Follow me, guys.” and they did, suspiciously eyeing around us. In time, we had snuck to the room I was looking for, and looking through a window, I saw two vampires smoking. I ducked down, and then told Gavin to punch the door. It exploded, and Newt ran in, firing flames everywhere. A moment later, he exited, through thick heavy smoke, and said,
“Smoking kills.”
“Was Smith in there?” Trevor asked
“Nah, just those two.”
“Let’s find him then!” Gavin said, punching his knuckles together. The result was a huge explosion.
“Gavin, don’t do that!” I shouted.
“Oh, sorry.”
After minutes of searching, we heard a shout from a box about the size of a human. I ripped it open with the toes of my boots, and Smith fell out.
“Smith!” We shouted in unison. He seemed not to get what was going on.
“Wait, Deckk?” I said, “Yes,” but he just said, “Well?” And I banged my head for being so stupid. I opened the main comm.
“Yes, it’s me. But I was wondering, how old are you?”
“I’ll tell you later, right now, we have to get out of here, and fast!” Smith said. But just then, a phone rang. I ran to the nearest one, and picked it up. “Hello?”
“I’m sending my henchman to pick the doctor up. Keep him boxed.”
“Who is it?” Trevor whispered
“Oh, er, okay, you got it boss.” I replied, then the other hung up.
“Well? Who was it!?!” Trevor asked. I ignored him.
“We’ve gotta get the doc outta here. Now. Newt, signal the transport, Gavin, barricade the doors, Trevor, get up to the highest walkway, with the doc, and jump off when I say so.”
“You got it, chief!
“They should be over us. . . now!” Newt shouted out.
“Gavin, c’mon! That’ll have to do!” I shouted, as I ran to nearby where Trevor was waiting on a raised walkway near the warehouse’s ceiling. Once the others were with me, I shouted, “Jump!” and Trevor jumped off with the doctor. The other three of us started to jet up, and I caught Smith, and Gavin got Trevor.
“Deckk, the ceilings are too thick to jet through!” Smith shouted
“Not if I have anything to say about it!” And I fired mini rockets at it, disentigrating it completely. Smith covered his head as I went through the explosion.
“Augh! My labcoat’s on fire!” Smith yelled. I ripped it off of him.
“How’s that?” I asked. The STA was right above us, but the hatch wasn’t big enough for all of us to fit through, I just noticed.
I opened a link with the ship’s radio, and told them to open the side door, and he did. I turned off my jet pack, because I was flying pretty fast, and I needed to get in at just the right time. Smith saw us hurtling towards the Aircraft, and screamed again, but the timing was right, and I slowed to a stop when we were righ by the opening, and two of the ship’s crew members shot magnetic wires to grab the doctor, then they hauled him in. I shot a little burst of my jet pack, and landed in the STA. The rest followed suit, and soon we had all landed safely inside. We just laid there for a moment, as the crew closed the door, then I remebered that I told Smith’s daughter I’d contact her upon the outcome of the mission. I used my helmet’s comm link, but I didn’t know her comm ID, if she even had one, so we’d have to tell her in person.
“Smith, how old are you?” I asked
“I don’t rightly know, myself, actually. I never payed attention, and no one knows when I was born.” He replied
“Interesting. . .”
“Sir, we’re getting something on radar!” the pilot said.
“Hold on.” I said slowly as I scrolled through my helmet’s features, then got it connected to the vehicle’s radar. It showed three dots.
“Our radar is far range, so they probably won’t see us yet. Should I activate stealth?” The pilot asked
“Yes, do so immediately.” I answered. In a few moments, other planes were seen far off.
“Pilot, scan those vehicles, see if they have any data on them.”
No, sir. these ships are unknown to the republic. It would be unwise to assume that they can’t really see us. . . or haven’t. . .”
Just then, there was a boom, and an explosion just outside of the cockpit.
“Pilot, what was that?” Gavin asked.
“A missile just hit our hull! They’ve engaged fire!” The pilot shouted. I ran into the co-pilot seat, and grabbed the weapon controls.
“Air-to-air lasers, air-to-air pulse guns, auto turret, machine guns. . . All weapon systems online!”
“Good,” the pilot responded “Now, you need to lock the auto turrets onto one of them. They’ll do the rest of the job.”
I locked the auto blasters onto the closest ship, just as another missile hit.
“We’re going into manuevers, everyone get your restraints on!” the pilot shouted, as another missile came into view. The pilot banked the plane right, and avoided the missile.
“I sure hope those aren’t heat-seekers!” I shouted. It didn’t seem that they were. A plane came into view, and I aimed the lasers in it’s direction, then, from my helmet, I tapped into the ship’s targeting computor, and used the crossair to aim completely at the enemy, then I released a blast of laser, scarring the wing, but not doing much else. It turned around, and I got it’s engine blasted off. It started to decrease altitude, until it was hurtling towards the ground. “One down.” the pilot commented. “And, just so you know, the pulses and machine guns only fire forward.”
“Then get me the kell in front of another!” I shouted, then there was the sound of blast fire outside.
“They’re gunning us!” I said. The pilot turned the ship around, and went into a nose dive. Then, the auto turret button started flashing.
“What’s that mean?” I asked.
“We’ve lost the auto blaster!” the pilot replied, gritting his teeth, as he slowly pulled the ship up again, and made it roll in a spin. It then faced another ship. I fired all out with the forward facing guns. It looked like I shot the pilot, cause he ship went spiralling down.
“One more to go!” but then another missile racked the ship, and we swerved a little.
“The vehicle’s at critical damage! We can’t make it!” the pilot panicked. Then, from nowhere, a few missiles blasted down the last vehicle, and an airbeast showed up. The pilot opened a link with the other ship. It said, “Are you in need of assistance?”
“Not anymore.” The pilot replied.
