The witch laughed from behind, and rose into a sitting position, still laughing. "This is quite entertaining to listen to, especially since no one is quite content with my favor."
"Where am I?" He said, semi-consciously.

Kortella gently began poking his face, giggling.
"Your... Your.." just as she was about to reply, she heard the witch's voice, easily changing back to her beast form. "Y- Your not dead yet!?" she exclaimed, annoyed - quite obvious.

"I've got thirteen soul-bits, love, it's a long way from death." she smirked and laughed again.
"Stop it!" Teloren exclaimed, placing Kortella away from him. He looked around the room and started to remember the kingdom again. Then he recognized the witch. "What are you doing here?"
"Helping you out."

"Ruining your life." Lazuri corrected, quickly grabbing Kortella with her tail.
Kortella began crying loudly - like usual.
"Shut up, Kortella. Now's not the time." she finally managed to say to her own daughter - obviously annoyed.

"And can you tell me why these people are here?" he asked the witch. "I don't remember letting them in."
The witch smiled. "Of course, Teloren. I'll tell you later. I'll explain everything. You hit your head hard, just go rest for a little while."
Teloren nodded. "Very well." he rose to his feet and headed for the door.

"Of course not." she laughed. "That spell would be a waste if I did."
Teloren headed down some stairs and into a dark room with a bed. Agreeing with the witch's suggestion, he fell onto it and passed out.

"Fine then. Just let Teloren know.. I'm just a guard of his." she whispered, obviously doubting anything would go her way. "Just a guard of his.." she repeated, looking down at her paws.

The witch smirked contently, then headed for the door. She halted at the doorway briefly. "Anything else you wish me to tell him?"

She gently placed Kortella in front of her, changing back to her elf form and and then carrying Kortella in her arms. "No,"

The witch appeared in the doorway of the room where Teloren had passed out. She looked into the shadowy scene for a moment. "Hmm.. should I tell him the truth?" she smirked to herself. "Of course not. I wonder if I should make this more interesting.. twist some words.." her evil grin grew wider.

The witch smirked. "I feel lazy right now. I'll wake him later." she just felt like walking around the kingdom for a little bit, mentally embracing her victory. What the witch was very unaware of, was that she wasn't alone. It wasn't just Lazuri who had watched the witch's spell work.
Clad in a silver cloak, a bright figure had a hood cast over their face, departing the opposite way the witch had gone, to where she had come from.

The figure silently entered the hallway unnoticed and tried to get a glimpse of Lazuri. She peered around the corner, then backed up and remained still for a few moments.

She pulled out her old blade, examining it for a few moments. "As well as learn to control those like me, once more.. considering now, I doubt Teloren knows what I really am, anymore." she sighed. Just the mention of his name almost made her cry, though she held it in. Now wasn't a good time to cry.. no.. it wasn't.
