Denolen thought his heart had just dropped into a chasm. His eyes widened slightly. "Kortella..." his voice was almost silent. He glanced quickly at her. "But.. you did die."

"I may have been around the age of 7, but yet, somehow, I knew how to use magic properly." she crossed her arms. At last, that was one person she didn't have to keep a secret from.

"I don't know," she admitted, looking back up at the castle. "Maybe I just wanted to see my parents.. after all these years.. see if they look any diffrent.. you know..." she sighed softly, shaking her head slightly.

She seems a strong fighter.. I don't think it would be to my advantage if I let her go see her parents."Are you sure they want to see you?" Denolen asked.

"I- I don't know," she sighed once more. Without thinking one bit, she hugged Denolen tightly. "What will they think of me..?" she whispered.

Like every other morning, she layed there in bed, eyes closed, asleep.

Denolen felt the wind knocked out of him for a moment. He looked down at her sympathetically. "I don't know. Teloren is confusing. But you're mother's not like that."
Teloren tried to shield the morning light from his eyes. He'd always hated it. He rose and walked to a dark corner to avoid it going into his eyes.
