I raised my eyebrow as she kissed me. I picked her up, and pulled her onto my lap, not breaking the kiss.

I handed Amber to the doctor, and went to sit by Selena. I started rocking violently in my chair again.

I stopped rocking and looked at her hand. I felt her shaking. "Are you okay?" I asked looking at her.

I continued to hug him. My little...well big man. "I couldn't have asked for a better son," I whispered to him, but loud enough to be heard by others.

"Alright," I told him. "Let me go get a pillow and a sheet, and I'll be right back."

The doctor came out. "Well...she has bronchitis. It's very easily treated, but she'll be coughing a lot. It'll sound like she coughing up her lungs." He started writing on a notepad. "Here's the prescription." He tore off the piece off paper and handed it to me.

"Thank you," I said jumping up and hugging him. It was awkward, but I was overjoyed that Amber would be fine. I let go of him, and went and got Amber.
