All Around Us; Part One: The House.

Maturity: Relationships, light kissing, *maybe* deaths and a few fights.
Fantasy: Ghosts, 'shadows', & vampires.

As you lay your head down on your pillow at bed time, you feel something... or someone, is watching you. You sit up, and look around. Seeing nothing, you lay back down, and close your eyes, but that feeling is still there.
Tomorrow, You go to your first day of school. That feeling is past you, and your yourself as always. But as it's time to leave school- a note is neatly placed in your locker. On the front, you read; DO NOT READ UNTIL YOU ARE AT HOME.
Well, You do as it says. As you reach home, you race up to your room, and read it.
The note reads:
You have been invited to the Haunted House on Retra Street. Let's see if you pass the 'test' of the year. NO CHICKENS ALOUD. Seeyou at 9:00p.m tonight.
~Desu.
After dinner, you (somehow) escape the house by yourself, without your parents noticing. You walk the empty streets, the street lights guilding your way. As you keep walking for about five more minutes, the creepy house is in view. It's a old, castle like mansion. You gulp, and walk up to the door. As you are about to knock, the door creaks open. As you just simply step in, the door slams shut behind you. You gasp and spin around, and you hear groaning. Of course, You think it's a ghost at first, but then you see a group of kids, huddled in a corner. One comes up to you. It's a girl, and she looks normal, but she has scratches in random places, her arms, face, and legs.
"Sorry about the welcome commitee." She said, quietly.
All you do is nod. She looks at you, and then tilts her head to the side.
"Do you believe in Ghosts?" She saids, and you shake you head.
"Then trust me, Your going to hate it here." She continues, and then leans in close.
"Ghost are real." She whispers, and as if the house hears, it goes in utter ruins. Window panels slam open and shut, shadows are seen walking the walls, and the kids in the corner wince. Your stuck in a real haunted house, and there is no way out.

So, Do you go with the group in finding a way out? Or do you wander around the house, hoping to find a way out, and then risk getting, a.) Being killed for unknown reasons, and turning into a ghost? or b.) Being swallowed by the shadows?

Explainations
So, You just got stuck in a Haunted House because of a evil Ghost named 'Desu', who died in the house because bullies locked him in there, and he died. In this house, There are trap doors, windows that don't break, And the main door that never opens from the inside. The house was built in 1874, and no-one has dared reck it down- in fear that the ghosts will haunt them. There is a HUGE amount of Ghosts in the house. Also- The house seems to be stocked with plentyful food, some un-persible, and some not. (the ghosts seem to bring in food, some of them anyway.)
Shadows, are ghost that are in the walls, and can't get out of the walls. There are EVERY scarey looking actually, if they can gather enough strength to get their heads out of the wall- just to scare you out of your wits.
Ghosts... Well, Alot of you should know. Ghosts are souls that are trapped in a certain place for the rest of... forever. Yeah. That's pretty much it. They float. The are see through, and they look like what they did when they 'passed on'

Race: Human
Description: Dark brown hair to her sholders, and a a strip of bright red in her bangs. She has really leight grey eyes, and they are big. (not to mention the pupils. xD) She has somewhat long eyelashes. She's about 5"2 and she's skinny- She's been in the Castle for two months. She usually eats last, when everyone else needs to eat. Alice wears a red V-neck teeshirt with a black undershirt, that's laced on the bottom. She then wears shorts... that used to be pants, until she tore them into shorts. For shoes, she wears black converse.
Personality: Alice is mostly a leader, but when it comes to new people, (*coughs* Guys *coughs*) she gets really shy, and she studders her words. Also- she tends to blush alot at that point.
How easy to scare: (On a scale of 1-10, 1 being not so easy to scare.) 7

Description: Red has blonde hair that rests lightly as his eyes, and it the back it slightly curls at the ends. He comes around the hieght of 5'6, and he's skinny enough so that you can see his ribs when he breaths in. His eyes are a dark brown color, and they grow wide at times for odd reasons. He wears a grey jacket over a dark blue t-shirt with shorts, what he was wearing when he got locked in, with ratty old sneakers.
Personality: Red can be sort of hard headed and stubborn, and if this were a horror film, he'd probably be the one to stalk off in the dark and get killed. Well, actually, he has alittle more sense then that. But he does get extremely dense when it comes to girls and their emotions. He's sweet though, and will do things to try and help others.

Description: Anya is very short, coming around the hiegth of 4'7, and she is very, very skinny. Her arms are frail, and seem at any moment in time they could snap, and usually they are covered in bruises. Anya is very pale, making the bruises pop out against her skin. With very large, brown eyes, she can make anyone feel bad when she cries. At times, her hair seems raven black, but it is really a dark, dark brown. The bangs sweep over on of her eyes and the rest falls lighty below her shoulders.
Personality: Anya is a very sweet, shy girl. She jumps at the slightest things, and when picked on, breaks down and cries. Most of the time, Anya is very innocent and timid, but she feels safe around the older kids.

Description: Kayla has long, golden blonde colored hair, with long bangs that now cover her eyes. She's been in the castle for a while, and hasn't found a decent pair of working scissors to cut them. When her bangs aren't in the way of her eyes, she has large, dark blue eyes, and full, light pink lips. She's very slim and agile, and she stands at maybe about 5"2. Give or take an inch. She's naturally fair-skinned, but since she hasn't gotten near the sunlight, her skin is a little paler than usual.
Personality: Kayla is very timid at times, but most of the time she just tries to put on a brave face. She's very friendly, and sometimes even talkative. She is very colorful, and is kind of hot-tempered. She can stand up for herself, so she thinks. She's very sweet, and is a good friend. She can be a bit of a goofball, and is very silly at times. She can get hyper sometimes, when she gets her hands on anything with sugar in it.

Description: Ghost-like. He looks to be in his mid thirties and has have long-ish, dark hair, some kind of mustache, and it is a mystery what he is wearing or where he came from, though it seems to be some sort of robe.
Personality: Not necessarily evil, he's more devious and a prankster, but he loves scaring people and messing with their minds. Constantly sarcastic and contrary, he gets very touchy when you mention his past.

Alice sat on the first step of the first floor staircase. With her head in her hands, she boredly stared at a wall, watching a shadow pass by. Her grey eyes followed and she sighed quietly. A scream, probably could have been heard by Alice, came from the second floor, were little Anya Natori was curled up in a ball, tears running down her face. A shadow had gotten enough strength to pull its head out of the wall right infront of her, and it had scared the poor little thing to tears.

"Yeah, This house does tend to scare even those who are never scared." Alice said, glancing down the wall as she saw something see-though. Desu. She cursed under her breath. "C'mon. Let's head down stairs." She said, standing up. "I think we may have some.. guests soon." She said, her grey eyes showing fury.

Alice looked down the hallway again. Thankfully- Desu maybe didn't even see them. She sighed of relieve, Desu REALLY freaked her out. She started chewing on her nails slightly.
