Miafire/Shadow Fire is the winner this month! Obviously, she is a great member- she is a member of the Pollster and Original Members groups. Lets see her interview:

Why did you decide to join TWG? How did you hear about it?
I decided to join Twig 'cause um. I gave it a quick look, and it looked awesome. That was back at the OLD Twig... like.. when it wasn't a Forumotion site. Then, when I heard that Twig was gonna be closed, and a new Twig would open up (this one), I was slightly dissapointed. So I spent a bit debatting on wether I should join, or not. In the end, I decided to join. And apparently, I like this one better.
Oh and... *points to Shadow* Its all thanks to her, that I exist. Wait, that came out wrong. o.O Its thanks to my parents, that I exist. Its thanks to Shadow, that I'm part of Twig! There. That sounds better. XD

How long have you been writing? What attracts you to writing?
Since like.. um.. since I was 6? Of course, my stories were about cats, n' stuff. (Speaking of that, my first drawing of a cat, was a cat.. with no neck. XD And that stands on its hind legs! Yeah. XD) Oh and. Um... 'Cause I can write about like.. anything, really. I can also express my emotions, in a story. If I'm angry, my stories get quite erm.. violent. As we as my poems can get just as violent.

How did you choose your username? Do you have any interesting nicknames?
(Shadow Fire) Um.. I like darkness... and fire.. XD
(Miafire) Long ago, when I was in 4th grade, we had a project. We had to invent an imaginary animal, and yeah. Then we had to make it in play dough. So... yeah. I decided to make a fire cat. But what to name it? I don't quite know why, but I named it Miafeu. With the name Miafeu, I got my first Webkinz. But I needed a username. I thought about my creation.. the Miafeu. In english.. what would it be? That's right. Miafire. So, I used it. No one else was using it. So, I ended up joining WI afterwards. The username Miafire wasn't in use, either. So now, I pretty much use that username every time I can.
Interesting nicknames? Hmmm..
Mia - Taken from the begining of my username (Miafire)
Afi - Taken from the middle of my username (Miafire)
Robot Blaziken - What I am, when I play Pokemon during recess, with my closest friends
Shade - When I used to be addicted to Twilight, we had this game we made up. I was given the name, Shade.
Blacka-Blacka - Don't ask. XD I was given this nickname, in around.. 3rd grade, I'd say. Yeah. XD
And many more.. but.. my mind must be going blank. XD

What was your first composition?
O.o A story about this team of animals! Who can transform into humans,
Kitty... Gold Dragon... Puppy Dog.. Keisha.. and many more.
My fav character was probably Rasacya though. The most deadly of them all...

What's your favorite color, and why? Favorite animal?
Not seriously a color.. but... black. I dunno. Black dark, likes darkness, no idea why I like it so much. (I'm not goth. >.<
My fav animal(s) gonna have to be... cats. Though also dogs... dragons.. and so on.

What kind of music do you like, and why? Do you have a writing playlist?
I like most kinds of Rock music. My fav radio station's VirginRadio, so you all know.

If you owned the site, what would you change and why? What would you keep the same?
Change things!? No way! D= Twig's perfect.
And of course, I'd keep the same name! =3

Ḋᴚӑԍӫӥ Ļ

ṽᶓᴚᴚ's Poem, Best Friends (https://shadowsowner888.forumotion.net/poems-f7/best-friends-a-poem-song-thingymabob-by-myself-t1052.htm) won the Featured Poem. The poem/song is about the crush she has on her best friend.

My inspiration for my poem was my best friend/crush, Daniel. =) I've liked him since we were in first grade, but have never breathed a word of it to him....One day, when my little sisters were blaring, You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift, I just ran to my laptop and wrote, the idea came fast and just flew out of my fingers.

It was bitter-sweet to write, lol. At one moment my heart was aching, yet at others I was positive and absolutely giggly to relive some of the precious moments I've had. It was kind of hard to write...Kind of easy...I don't know, in between, I guess.

I think other members like the poem because they can related. =) It's kinda common, I'm guessing, for a best friend to fall for the other and be too afraid to tell.

My favorite part of the poem...I'm not sure. I love the entire thing. =)

The winning story this month was Diary of a Middle Sister by Akeria. Smile

It's her first realistic fiction story, and an excellent one.

What was your inspiration for DoTMS? How long have you had the idea?
Not very long, actually. I was walking home from school, and thinking about how neat it'd be to do one of those diary stories. I've never really written one, the only one I did write was called "Diary of a Compulsive Gum Chewer" and it really didn't go very far. My inspiration? I don't know... My family and friends I guess. A lot of the characters are loosely based on my family, with some changes.

Was it fun to write it? How easy was it?
Yeah, it's a fun story. I love who Claire has become, and how you can see her develop throughout her diary posts, starting as a typical teenager, and developing into someone stronger than she thought she could be. Not so easy to write though. See, I'm trying to make it "novel" length, but It's not really working too well... I think it's around 20K words at the moment, but that's only half of what my goal is before NaNo starts. Who knows? Maybe I'll be working on a sequel during NaNo.

Why do you think other members like the story?
That's a very good question. To be honest, I think it's the kind of story people can relate to. Because it's not a fantasy, there aren't eighty dragons running around trying to breathe fire on innocent bystanders, I think that people can relate to Claire. She's got five sisters, One has leukemia, she broke up with her boyfriend, had to deal with her best friend's sister dying, and is buried with homework. Though I am a little tough on her, she is loosely based on one of my friends. Claire's a good character, and I think my writing style is pretty easy to understand.

Hm.... Well, to be honest, only the people that have read the plot spoiler would know what it is, so I really don't want to ruin it. Let me just say, that the story doesn't exactly end the way you think it should, and I really hope that my readers like where it goes.

What was your inspiration for TViMH? How long have you had the idea?
I'd had it about half a year, probably, before I actually got around to making it. xD The inspiration came from Edward's clone and Jacob's clone and all the other imaginary friends various people have online, so I wanted a place where they could all interact besides the open forum.

Was it fun to make? How hard was it?
Easy, cus I was lazy. And thus fun. xD I really should make a better front page, lol.

Why do you think other members like the RP?
Because we all know we have evil little voices running around in our heads.

What's your favorite part of it, personally?
Finally being able to have a place to play everything out, so I can, say, actually say Nick Jonas and I were married, and remember the experience properly.
