All my friends are like obsessed with Defying Gravity. I never wanted to be involved with Wicked at all (long story) so I never listened to it. I liked the Glee version, but I still refuse to listen to the original. I don't care that my friends think I only like songs cuz of Glee, I have reasons for staying away from Wicked.

Defying Gravity. I never wanted to be involved with Wicked at all (long
story) so I never listened to it. I liked the Glee version, but I still
refuse to listen to the original. I don't care that my friends think I

My mom saw Wicked and when I asked her about it, she said if I saw it, it would change my opinion about the Wizard of Oz. I've loved that movie since I was like 3, I don't wanna change my opinion and perspective of it. So I don't care if my friends think I just like songs cuz of Glee, I'm not listening to the original.

Yeah, Will seriously needs to divorce her! There's gonna be SOO much drama when he finds out she was faking her pregnancy! Assuming he does, if Quinn suddenly decides she wants to keep it with Puck... That's how I think it should end up!

I don't understand the freakin concept of taking Quinn's baby. She's waaaay more pregnant than Quinn! How the heck is she gonna explain why the baby is born months later?? I know babies can be born late or early, but that's just like a few days or a week or two, not months!!! And Will is so excited about it, it's gonna kill him when he finds out.

Seriously, I don't understand why Will still says he loves her! Either there's something behind it we don't know, or he's also a butt and is in it just for the child. But that would be horribly disappointing.

Defying Gravity would probably be the song to change most of the perspective, yeah. If you really want to avoid a perspective-change, do whatever you can to avoid Dancing Through Life, I'm Not That Girl and As Long As You're Mine. Those just really screwed me up. =\

I don't think Will is like that. He honestly seems to be so happy about the baby. But little does he know there is no baby. Stupid wife....

I think if I listen to the Glee version of the song and like don't try to figure out what the lyrics mean and crap, I'll be good.

And the happiness is just what sparked the idea in my head, but I agree with you, Will probably isn't like that. But you never know.... Remember how easy Sue changed Will for that small time period?

I remember listening to Defying Gravity on Rhapsody, and I'm pretty sure the three-minutes worth of lyrics they left out pretty much leaves out the song's relevance to the musical, so you should be safe, wink

I also remember someone saying Lea Michele looking a heck of a lot like Idina Menzel (Elphaba)....

And I just re-listened to the Glee version of Defying Gravity, and it's the first one that I don't like. All of their other songs were pretty darn good, but this one.... It's just too repetitive for me. Probably my problem with it is the fact they left out the good part of the ending.
Yet I understand why they did that; neither Rachel nor Kurt are the Wicked Witch of the West (right?....) so they're not going to go where the song mentions.

I didn't really like it either. I've heard the original, and it was MUCH better then the Glee version.
My favorites are still Sweet Caroline and the mash up of Its My Life/Confessions Pt.2 nod

But yeah, I think Puck would make a better dad then Finn Razz
