I finished The Hunger Games last night. There's 52 holds ahead of me on Catching Fire at the library and I want it for the plane ride next week. D: Maybe my parents will take me to the bookstore tomorrow. In the meantime, I've started The Host. It's good, but it reminds me SO MUCH of Animorphs.
The only problem with reading THG obsessively for two days is that now everything I write is in present tense in my head, so I have to change it as I type/write. XP
Anyway... My dad forgot to set his alarm, and he's my alarm, so I didn't wake up until about two minutes before we're supposed to leave. XP But somehow, we were barely late. o.0
Homeroom was boring.
In Math we had a test... I think I did pretty well, but I kept spacing out and thinking about THG... Man, that book is addicting.
In Jewish Studies half the class was redoing a test, so we separated into two groups (taking the test and not taking the test), and the non-test group was going to do current events, but the teacher thought it was distracting the test group so we got to do whatever we wanted for like half the period. I didn't have my book and Mr T woulda murdered me if I'd snuck into the classroom to get it, so I wrote like a page of my story. Now I just gotta type it up... XP
First period Humanities we talked about the trip next week.
Lunch was normal.
Second period Humanities we watched a fifty minute movie on Washington DC in a forty-five minute period. Don't ask how; Mr T is magical. o.0 And he even paused it like seven times to explain stuff.
In Hebrew I learned how to say checkers: Shesh-besh. Or something like that. XD We talked about time capsules. There was a barbaque (sp?) in the capsule. XDXD
At recess I read.
Sixth and seventh period we were supposed to have electives but a Holocaust survivor came to talk to us so we did that instead. That means that between the photography on Tuesday, the survivor today, and no school tomorrow, I had no classes in the computer lab this week.
Then I took the bus... and the kids behind me started swearing. And I don't mean interjecting the swears into their sentences, I mean literally just going back and forth with random swear words for no reason at all. XP
Then I walked home. And got on the computer. My mom got our tickets for New Moon! And... yep, that's it.
Random thought of the day: Popularity is so overrated. XP

I also just finished the Hunger Games, yesterday morning! And the Host is so awesome, isn't it?
Re: :: Ratty's randomly rattyful blog :: 10/22/09 ::
Awesome, what'd you think?
It is. I'm not very far yet, though. Like... 50 pages, maybe?

It was awesome. But they don't have the second book in our library (in which I am in right now). But then again, it was just released like a month ago.
Well, good luck with finishing the Host.

Like I said up there, mine has it but there's 52 holds ahead of me on 19 copies, so I won't be getting it any time soon.
I read The Host until 1:40 last night. On page 200.

Me too. xP
Wow, that's cool. Do you have the hard cover or the paperback? Or is there only hardcover? Who's your favorite character so far?

Hardcover. I think the B&N lady said the paperback's coming out in January or something. Um... I'm not really sure. Maybe Melanie.

Cool. Mel's a nice character. Have you gotten to the part with the caves, yet? Jamie is awesome.
Re: :: Ratty's randomly rattyful blog :: 10/22/09 ::
Yeah, she's been there for a while. Jamie just volunteered to guard her and they're talking.

I think Anna's already finished, if you want to talk to her about it. I'm pretty sure she's on.
