Michael was sitting in the Blackford Mansion [which is right smack in the middle of a very dark forest, thank you very much] laying upside down on his bed. The Blackfords had gone off to another one of their 'family meetings'-- they were having a lot more of them lately, with the battle coming up and all. And he sang in a bored fashion [to the tune of A Pirate's Life For Me] "I really hate my life right now, because I'm super bored! No one to bother, no one to prank--" and so he continued, his curly hair hanging upside down along with his body.

Luke was strolling around the forest, as usual. Emma's whining had rose to a crescendo this morning and he had just left her had his cabin, fed up with it. Whatever pay Violet was giving him, it had better be good, he thought. Still seeming like his panties were in a bunch, he walked along, stepping through the tangle of brush and roots like it was nothing.

Michael sat up, hearing footsteps. Yes, Michael's slightly pointed, almost bat-like ears, were very acute. He yanked his window open, and leaned out a little. He almost looked like he came out of a black and white picture; with his white skin, and black curls. He wore a pair of skinny jeans, vans, and a black long sleeved shirt. He also wore a beanie over his head.

Luke wore something more...traditional. A white, puffy long sleeved shirt was on his chest, the first several buttons unbuttoned. Over that a slightly--only slightly--too-large-for-him brown leather jacket. Underneath both of those were a pair of dark brown slacks, and lastly, a pair of shiny black shoes. His hair was black, as well, but it was neatly cut and fell in his eyes sometimes. He sighed heavily and walked on, taking in the sounds of the forest but ignoring most of them.

Michael spotted the man or boy or teen-- or whatever the hullaballoo he felt like calling this dude right now-- and he snickered. His snickers sounded something similar to a snake hissing, to maracas. "Wow, what a nerd..." He commented to himself, and then shut his mouth, hoping he hadn't heard this comment.

Luke scowled and his head snapped towards Micheal. "Nerd?" he growled curtly, his arms crossing. "I wouldn't be the one talking, you know." He shook his head, clearly annoyed now.
