What's Your NaNo About?

This is kinda late, but anyways, we can still share. What's your NaNo story about? these are my main two ones:

Conspiracy:

When the President tells America that he has an announcement that will shake it to its core and forever change the fate of the world, fourteen year old Billie Carmichael writes it off as something unimportant like a new healthcare plan. Little does she know that the announcement will forever change her life. She watches in horror as most of the country becomes the government’s unwilling slaves, and all because of a chip inserted into the back of their necks disguised as the cure for cancer, that controls their moods, goals, and emotions.

She forms an unlikely alliance with three teenagers determined to overthrow the government, and she is in for the ride of her life as they rush to formulate a brilliant conspiracy before time runs out and they are caught.

When the government is already out to get anyone and everyone who defies them, and the teenagers have quickly earned themselves a spot high up on the threat list, things are starting to look bleak. But Billie is determined to press forward and overthrow the government as to guarantee her younger brother’s safety.

Along the way, she learns many interesting things about her companions such as information about their history and family. And she also learns interesting things about herself that she never knew before: that during a national crisis when their lives could end at any given moment, she could fall in love with an almost complete stranger.

iNSaNiTY: Andalusia:

INSANITY.

That’s what Sydney calls it when the first strange thing happens, but many more are soon to come.

Five normal girls, just a normal school trip to Ireland, and several random normal supernatural occurrences. Wait, normal supernatural occurrences? For these girls, yes. They may not have known it at the start, but it is clear that anything other than supernatural is long in their pasts.

When Stephanie finds an old parchment book about mythical creatures, the girl’s are curious. Before they know it, they find themselves caught up in its spell, literally. When they next come to their senses, they are nothing like before. Natalie is a forest nymph. Taylor is tide nymph. Christine is a creature nymph. Stephanie is a nightmare nymph. Sydney is a dream nymph. And to make things even more confusing, Sydney has lost her memory in the transformation. But they cannot dwell on little facts like that. They find out they are part of an ancient prophecy. Five nymphs, promised to be other than water, earth, wind, or fire, that will search out a hidden item, that not even their guide will tell them about. Only that they must find it and hurry, because the fate of the mythical world staying hidden depends on them finding this mysterious item.

They are sent out into the Irish countryside, not knowing what they are searching for. Their only instructions are to follow their instincts, and that they will know the item when they find it. But they aren’t alone. There are dark forces on the rise, and they are out to get the item before the five friends, and will stop at nothing.

I had three.

1 - Desperate
When Tasha Royal gets the opportunity of her life, to escape her abusive parents forever, she waits too long before taking the chance. This complicates things, throwing into her a quest for nine medallions so she can exchange them for a counterfeit key - a key she never would've needed if she'd only taken the chance to go with her boyfriend on his band's tour right away. The world is cruel and dangerous, a forest filled with magical things . . . and all the while, while fighting for her life, Tasha wonders if her boyfriend even remembers her anymore.

2 - Falling
Hayley's life is pathetic. No girl has ever been more desperate to find a boyfriend than she, and this desperation is just what turns all the boys away from her - until she meets Damian Tero. He'd always been mysterious, but when she suddenly noticed that he had a pair of wings, her curiosity drove her normally shy self to go and talk to him. It was "love at first conversation." But the relationship might not last, much to Hayley's dismay - being able to see Damian's wings means she is a member of L'Ailé, in which the males (gargoyles) and the females (harpies) are two separate species at war. The moment she gets her own wings, they'll become mortal enemies. However, they suddenly find themselves second-guessing everything they know when mysterious, demonic animals begin to attack the population of the world.

3 - Shadow Souls
I don't have a synopsis prepared. xD But it's DS's sequel.

Dimensional was about a 14-year old girl, Abi. She and her BFF, Alex, get taken aboard an alien spaceship that was stolen by Iaro of Eill. They have to race Iaro's crazy sister to find thirteen Taira scattered through space and time, because if she gets her hands on all of them she'll blow up the universe. Yay.

The Last Fairy

A novel of romance, mystery and adventure, The Last Fairy tells the story of Alatus, a young woman from the small village of Lavalie. She was born with wings and had always thought of it as a mutation. The only person who ever told her otherwise was the crazy old man that slept under the bridge, but she didn't truly believe him.

However, her perspective on the devices that were situated on her back entirely changed one day when she came home to find her family slaughtered. The murderers kidnapped her to take her to the king, and the only reason they gave her was that it was because of her wings. But what could be so special about them?

Treated nicely by one of the men but coldly by the other, she was stuck between wondering if the king would kill her or want her to be apart of his kingdom. The latter wouldn't be likely, but she needed something to hope for during her trek through the unknown.

In a land of the undead, pixies, and magic, Alatus' adventure will not at all be what she had expected...

The Last Fairy? Lol, I don't know why, but when you said that before for some reason I thought it was the original version of Broken Reflections. o.0

No, haha. XP The original version of BR will maybe some day be posted... But I cannot say which one it is until the very end. 'Cause I think I gave away the ending in one of my threads.XP
