-----Desperately hoping he would understand what she meant, Shadow lowered her voice and continued speaking. "There's a ton of yogurt being sent to a new city."

((Hmm . . . *rubs chin* I've got Jacob Black, Cody or Kayla (original characters who can turn into dragons), or I could make a new character . . . I've been wanting to make someone from MR for a while . . . xD

I has to go soon, though, so I hope you won't mind an on-and-off. ^^; ))

-----At last they reached the house, a boring-looking building with what seemed to be two stories. "Inside! Mr. Pookins was in my room last!" Pootnic panted, flinging open the door and racing inside without bothering to hold it open.

((Well I didn't know he was thirty!!! It's shocking news!!! xD))

I caught the door seconds before it slammed in my face. I was barely able to catch sight of this strange man before he disappeared around a corner. I followed him swiftly.

Lisa and Coby's eyes seemed to turn glassy for a few moments, almost as if something had came over them. But they quickly regained their childish glow, and then ran into the house. Damon walked to the door, and held it open. "Come on in." He smiled, "We don't bite."

[J] I blinked in confusion, my brain taking a moment to process what she meant. After I was pretty sure I'd figured it out, I took another moment to think of a suitable casual metaphor to confirm my suspicions. "You mean that new special flavor? The one that causes... food poisoning?"

((What I find shocking is what’s in his room. xD And no, he doesn’t wear it either.))

-----Pootnic barged his way into his bedroom, a small and extremely messy area. Clothing was strewn everywhere - particularly girls’ clothing, despite the fact that there hadn’t been a female in this house in over thirty years - and, barely visible on top of a heavily cluttered dresser, sat an empty fishbowl.
-----He was right there,” Pootnic announced, somehow making his way through the mess on the floor to point at the bowl.

-----Edward didn’t react to Damon for a moment, a little flustered by the look in Lisa and Coby’s eyes. Was something . . . wrong with them? he wondered.
-----That was when he realized Damon had spoken. Looking up with surprise, he put an awkward smile back on his face. “Sorry.” Edward slowly made his way inside, glancing at Damon’s eyes for a moment, so quickly it was hard to tell he had at all. Were his abnormal like the twins’ had been only seconds ago?

-----Shadow rapidly nodded. "There's been some really bad cases around here, too - every three days, people have to take a special drug for it, but they say that it only makes the poisoning worse!" She might have been starting to get a little too obvious, unforutunately, but she didn't realize that.

For a moment, Damon's eyes flickered to the twins. It was a look of suspicion, almost concern. He was glad Edward could not read his thoughts, because of the dead brain waves and all, for if he could, he'd be hearing one constant thing; Maryann. Was she starting to manifest her power within the town, just like before?
It couldn't be so.

The lights [which were turned off before] were on. The inside of the house was like a log cabin; an unlit fireplace, a sofa, a television in the corner, wooden floors and walls. It looked warm.

Someone was coming down the stairs. It was Cassandra, the three--Damon, Lisa, and Coby-- had guessed. She was wearing a pair of large glasses, the king that Mort Rainey wore [or rather, Nerd glasses]. There was something odd about the scent of her blood, that which every vampire inhabiting the house was aware of. It smelled strange, almost non-human.

[Cool; I think Iggy and Max are my favorites Cool
I'll start since you're doign alotta of RPs xD]

Kat looked behind her, making sure no one was following, and scrambled through the forest. She should not have started that food fight in school, punched that kid, and kicked the teacher were it counts. And Kat realized this after she had ran away from the school. "Oh, great," the girl sighed, "now I'm lost."

-----Edward's face became slightly tight . . . he wasn't honestly sure what to do here, how to act, anything like that . . . it was because of Damon. If he could read this one's mind, it'd be so much easier . . . but no. He couldn't.
-----When Cassandra came into the room, Edward smiled at her a little bit, giving her a nod. So this is Alec's . . . girlfriend, then?

((Lol, awesome. :3 Thank you so much!))

-----Iggy slowly walked through the forest, his eyes open, but unseeing. Why he was in the middle of the forest by himself when he couldn't see, it was a mystery. In fact, it was in doubt whether he himself even knew.
-----He was just getting ready to head back to civilization when he heard a voice. A look of wariness crossed his face. Sure, it sounded just like some random girl, lost by her words . . . but what if this was another trap?
-----Iggy swallowed and made up his mind. "Hello?" he said, slowly heading towards the voice, keeping his wings ready. Now would be a really good time to miraculously get my eyes back, he thought, shaking his head.

[Are you kidding me?! A++ compared to my start xD]

Kathryn quickly raised her head, hearing a somewhat unsteady voice. She backtracked, ran into a tree, and groaned. Standing up, she looked around for the source of the voice; straight ahead. Quietly, she made her way through brambles and over grown roots towards it. After a bit of nothingness, Kat said: "Who's there? And...And where are you?"
Well, she thought, I wonder how dumb that sounded to the person.

((I'm glad to hear that, Ratty. xD))

-----Iggy decided just to stop, so that he and whoever this person was wouldn't be stumbling around like raving idiots. "Over here," he called, and slowly reached his hand out until he felt the bark of a tree beneath his hand. Brown, with a tint of greenish-yellow . . . lichen, was that?

-----He shook the distraction off and continued. "My name's Iggy. I can't see you, so you'll have to come here yourself, I'm afraid."

~•~•~•~•~

-----"Yeah!" For a moment, Shadow started getting so caught up in the decoy scenario that she almost believed it. "Those idiots, they're refusing to take the products back! It's like they actually want everyone else to get sick!"

Kat made her way to the person quietly. She jumped over a log, tripped over it. After collecting a series of so-to-be-scars, cuts, and bruises, she hopped a creek and heard the voice again.
If he couldn't see me is he blind?, she thought, Then what the heck is he doing in a forest?

Then she heard his voice again, and, getting through the forest almost silently for a change, came to a small clearing with a big tree on the left side. Where this person was.
"Hi," she said hesistantly. "I'm Kat."

-----Iggy smiled, a bit nervously. Life would be so much easier if he could tell what she looked like. Maybe then he'd have an opportunity of at least determining whether she was an enemy . . . but no, all he had to go by was voice.

-----"Hi," he replied. "Are you lost?" Yup, getting right to the point might be good.

At the same time, he made himself busy inspecting her mind. He probably shouldn't have done so to the extent he was trying to . . . but he was very, very curious.

Kat studied the boy for a minute. Nope, not anyone she knew. But Kat could've sworn she'd seen him before. And she didn't even hear him came up; he must be very stealthly. Hmm.

She adjusted her white jacket and bit her lip, watching him smile.
"Me?" Kat crossed her arms, "No. Are you lost?"
Lying seemed like the best option here.

-----Iggy smirked, shifting so that he was leaning against his tree instead of just standing there. "Yep. I've been lost for, oh, about three months," he replied. It would be hard for anyone to tell whether he was serious or not.

-----He was sort of serious . . . but sort of not. It had really only been about three hours . . . but for him, lost was never really lost, since he didn't have a definite home anyway. It would've been better if he was with the rest of his flock, but he wasn't . . . so at least it was more lost than usual, by his terms.

~•~•~•~•~

-----Finally Shadow became serious, her face becoming very determined. "We need to infiltrate the - ah - shipping truck thingies before they get a chance to manifest their products there. Not sure how, but . . . that's what I'd do, anyway." She nodded.

Kat sighed, looking at her surroundings in case she had to make a quick getaway. Which, these days we extreemly common for her. You never know who's who. She looked him in the eyes . . . was he blind? It was had to tell.
"Three months? That's a long time." Kat said, sarcasm dripping.

She wouldn't tell a random, maybe, blind guy in a forest that she was lost. Besides, he probably already knew she wa lying throuhg her teeth. Kat just needed to figure out a bit more about him, but, she'd have to tell him something too.
"So where are you from?" Kat raised her dark eyebrow, not sure is he could see it.
