Cassandra was wandering around through the underground tunnels in Volterra. Really, there was just so much that people could hide under their noses... it wasn't even funny. She was considering feeding, but her guilt got the best of her instincts; and here she was at last.

"Oh . . . well, I'm afraid you can't have her," Aro spoke serenely. Why would Jasper want her? She was just a silly human . . . "You see, we've discovered that she knows far too much about vampires. Far, far too much. Like Bella before her, she only has two choices . . . death, or to become a vampire." He arched an eyebrow.
Jane hissed, baring her teeth in distaste. Why didn't he just do it himself? All the same, she did so anyway, and handed Alec the coat within two seconds.

"Cassandra." I spat her name in disgust. "Aro wishes to see you."

I gulped, and Jasper stiffened. I put one hand on his, and he took it gently. "But, like Bella before her, she will never tell." He said stiffly, still holding my hand. "Jasper, calm down." I whispered. "I know what I'm doing Amanda." He whispered back.
Alec walked over with another coat in his hand. Jasper growled. "Get away from her." He glared right into Alec's red eyes, the ones that scared me so much. "She is mine."

(Protective much? XD)

-----Stephanie was starting to freak out now, too. She was not going to let Amanda stay here . . . but she didn't know if she could pull an Alice. How could she even want to change Amanda, if Jasper didn't want her to?
-----Jane had seen this before, but all the same, it was amusing to her. Especially since Alec was actually being kind to this one. But she kept her expression neutral.
-----"Well, of course things do change," Aro stated. "She may be against telling now, but in the future . . . things could slip out . . ." He sadly shook his head, walking a little closer.

Cassandra lifted her gaze a little bit, her eyes looking an extremely bright colored blue. She nodded once, "Alright." She whispered, and made her way to the throne room.

"I... I would never..." I coughed harshly. "Please, Aro. Believe her. She has no wrong against you." Jasper put his hand on my shoulder as I coughed again. "Are you okay?" He stared into my eyes; I shrugged. "As she was saying..." Jasper trailed off. "I would never tell anyone. Really." I smiled lightly in spite of myself. "Really."
Jasper's arm wrapped around her shoulders as she spoke, bringing her closer. I supressed a sigh; I would get Amanda.

I strode ahead and walked into the throne room. "Aro." I spoke quickly. "Bring her in."

['cause this was probably when I was thinking Aro could use his 'Humans are evil' trick on Cass by reminding her that her neighbor is the one who killed her and such... xD]

Cassandra followed behind quietly, her head lowered a little. She winced slightly at the sight of Demetri wiping his sleeve across his ruby red-stained mouth. She loathed the sight of blood; the one thing that could keep her alive.

(Fine, you play him. I g2g do homework...might BBL.)

I smiled. "I'll leave you in peace, Aro. I'll bring back a morsel or two." I winked, and strode out.
"Cassandra." I began slowly. "Remind me again how long you have been here?"

Cassandra exhaled quietly, "Two-hundred-and-seventy-four years." Replied the ever silent one, lowering her gaze like she usually did. Her hands were folded in front of her, and she restrained the urge to rock onto her heels.
