Leslie looked up at Mort Rainey in horror, her golden and blue eyes as wide as saucers. She squirmed out from under his foot, and began crawling backwards.
Shooter chuckled, and slowly began to step towards her, his shovel slung over his shoulder.

"Alyssa!" Maybe I could get Shooter to be Mort again. I ran over to where he was...Leslie was on the floor. "Mort?" I called, trying to sound different.

Shooter looked up, his eyes flashing gold, the hat and shovel disappearing. He suddenly was the normal, skinny, glasses-wearing, quiet Mort. His eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he passed out.
Leslie hesitated, before standing up.

"Mort?" I lied Alyssa carefully on the ground before rushing over. "Mort, what's wrong?"

Mort's eyes snapped open, and he grabbed Jasper by the shoulders, his eyes very large, and he said in a very hoarse voice, "Help. Me." And he passed out.
Leslie walked over, "There are two people who can help him." She said in a delicate voice. "Only Catherine and Robert know their names.

I caught Mort as he fell, hoisting him onto one shoulder. "Alyssa." My voice was almost as hoarse as Mort's. Was I getting human again...blackness.

Leslie somehow managed to catch the two, resting them on the ground. Great. Three people who were passed out, and only one person to carry them. She couldn't find connections to anyone, so she decided to see if Edward would be able to hear her thoughts. Edward? Are you there? If you can here me, listen. Jasper, Mort, and Alyssa are pretty much passed out, and I won't be able to carry all three of them.

Leslie nodded, hearing the thoughts. She walked over to the knocked out Mort, "Alrighty," She muttered, somehow managing to pick up the twenty-two-year-old. If you looked closely, the two kind of looked a like. She had his hair, and the same black ring around her iris.

"Finally" He said, in a few fluid motions he was out the door and heading towards lunch. Lorcan wasn't one for studing or class for that matter. He knew most of the history in history class, and the other classes he got by in greatly.

I very carefully picked of Alyssa and Jasper, balancing them on my shoulders. "Back home?"

Amaya laughed as she followed after him, quickly gathering up all of her books. She asked him, "What class is next now? I forget."

Leslie nodded, making sure that she wasn't going to drop Mort. She found his glasses on the ground, and picked them up carefully, "Wonder why he wears these," She wondered aloud. She looked on the inside of them, and found in golden cursive writing, it read:
To the best daddy in the whole word~ L.R.
She smiled a bit, placing them on his head again. Somehow, the glasses looked vaguely familiar. She looked back up, "Yeah, let's go."

"Lunch" He said, looking back at her with a grin. He liked Lunch, because teachers couldn't yell at him for not paying attention to anything.

Jasperr woke up about a mile down. "Alyssa!" He picked her up immediatly, cradling her gently against his chest. A small smile lit his face.

Amaya grinned, "Good. I am very hungry today," She nodded, rolling her eyes a bit, showing that would be impossible for her to be hungry for human food.

Eventually, Mort woke up as well. He seemed pretty alarmed, "Watch out!" Leslie tried to warn, when he rolled out of her arms, landing on the ground. He muttered something under his breath,
"Golly..." He muttered, standing up and brushing the dirt off of his loose pants.

Alyssa was still asleep or passed out -I couldn't tell which - in my arms. As we approached the house, I heard a snarl.

"Yeah. So am I" he laughed, but Lorcan really was starting to get hungry...not for human food though. He walked in, went quietly through the line and just getting an apple and water before walking over and sitting down at thier normal table.

Mort looked around, "Did y'all here that?" He asked. Now, his voice had went back to normal. It only had a very light country accent to it, barely noticeable.

And at the table sat only Adele and Abriele, probably because the others were at the Cullen house right at this very moment. For once, they weren't playing their violin, but pretending to eat.

I nodded. Alyssa's arms snaked up around my neck...she seemed to know what was going on.

Mort Rainey turned around quickly, along with Leslie. Both of their eyes seemed to widen a bit, almost like looking in a mirror. They both had the feeling that this person was not friendly.

Leslie tilted her head, along with Mort, "Who's Harper?" She asked curiously, her voice light and delicate. She looked, and felt, pretty confused.

"Crikey, Lorcan. How's it goin'?" Asked Adele curiously, head tilting. Her voice, like Abriele's, was heavily tinted with an Australian accent.
