I jumped off Blake's back and walked up to the kid.

"Jessi!" I reached my arm out to grab her, but she was already out of my reach.

"We're running from a bad place. We didn't know there were territories. We're sorry."

Alice raised an eyebrow. She leaned closer to Liz. "Am I going crazy? How long have we been in that dank, dark place?" She said.

I watched them talk as my eyes widened. If that kid so much as lays a finger on her, I swear. . . I though to myself.

The kid spun around and began to run in different direction.

Alice hesitated to follow. While some kids followed after, She stayed in her spot. She didn't trust this kid.

Alice's eye twitched. She looked at Blake. "Y-You won't d-do that would y-you?!"

"Fine. But remember, you ask for it." I quickly put my arm under her knees, my other arm around her waist, and pulled her over my shoulder. I put one arm down, while the other kept her from sliding off. "Told you I would." I smiled and laughed a little bit.

"Hey!" Alice said, almost screaming if they weren't escaping. She hit him on the back. "Hey! Let me down Shrek!"

{Haha! That's the best part of the first Shrek movie. xD}
