Haha. xD The other day I went to Kohl's with my parents, and I told them I needed a calendar. Originally I wanted one that would go on my bedroom wall, but then I saw this in the desk page-a-day section. I said, "Forget what I said about the wall, I'm getting this," and we went on our way.

Golly, that date looks way too short. xD I guess it's because we've been those big numbers lately: twelve, 09, and whatever double-digit day you can think of. This is puny: one, four, and ten--which is written with a puny number and a skinny one.

That sounded awful random--which reminds me of Health today! cheesy I think I'll tell you guys about my school day backwards today so I'll remember stuff better.

In Health, we learned this quarter's topic was going to basically be our own partner-project on First Aid. My friend Lillian and I got together, but when we went up to the list to choose our topic, we ended up being the last ones with the leftovers--of preventive strategies. That's a good and bad thing, because we get to talk a little on just about all of the available topics, but it's a lot of work. nod

So we all went to the big computer room, and I just had to type up our notes rather than write, so I went typing while I read off the book, and Lillian took a second computer and searched for more info. Sometimes I would put in cheesy smileys in the notes, like =D or o.0. Lillian laughed and went all "what the heck" on me. xD

Another time in the research I had a table of good and bad things. The good thing was, "A secure stool is used when trying to reach something out of reach." The bad thing? "People are Mexican jumping beans when trying to reach something out of their reach." We were cracking up and receiving a couple strange looks. nod

Right before we went to our lockers to put away our binders, I asked my teacher if she was serious about the punishment thing. She said yes, but needed me to remind her as to what the punishment was (each interruption means five minutes of Barney/Teletubbies). She said she would do it to kids who would receive detentions, whether lunch or after-school. Very Happy I also asked if I should warn my previous L.A. teacher about the situation. She said no, but I will anyway. xD

Before that was geography. Nothing really special happened. I mean, we did Daily Geography, I took down the wrong attendance, and did a packet on Europe for an hour before turning it in and reading Agatha Christie for a solid half an hour longer. Nothing real special.

And before that was lunch. I asked a few people at my table (Chanel, Claire, Rebecca, Heather (not DL Razz at least I don't think...? Suspect) about this one number that's called me three days in a row, once a day, at random times. Chanel and Rebecca said the number was so familiar; Claire said to call 'em. I asked my grandma if I could do that, and she said I shouldn't. So that idea went bust. I'm still waiting to see if (s)he'll call again... Oh, and we had spicy chicken strips--something edible! cheesy Hot and scorching, but delicious.

Up until that point I'd been practicing for half an hour All-Suburban Honor Choir songs that we need to have memorized by Saturday. The thing is, nobody's CD worked but mine, even though mine only worked on the computer. xD So pretty much nobody in our little group had all of them memorized. I don't even have Ahay Tuburan or Et Exultavit totally done, but the others are nailed.

Before that I had Spanish in a new room and new seats. We were in a technology room (other than the one I talked about in the Health paragraphs), and I get to sit around all of these boys. My partner's a boy, and near me is Shanko (whom's decided to pick on me now), a couple other guys.... There are only two girls near me. One is a total ditz, the other is cool with me--and right next to me/ Still not my favorite place in the world, though. Everybody's still disrespectful and not-too-smart (except for Dillon smitten), and the teacher is still not very disciplinary. I guess some things just never change.

The beginning of my school day had been Language Arts. Once more, we landed ourselves in new seats. And guess what? I get to sit right next to Shanko and a Smart Alec! xP It's a group of three boys and one girl in my little pod, and I'm the girl. Not fun. At all. We're gonna start reading a book called Tangerine, and at the looks of it we might twice. The cover has a guy playing goalie for a soccer game and blocking a ball. Even with the fire and low moon and orange haze with it all, to me, it's an immediate denial. But hey, I like my A's, so I gotta read it.

So, now we're done with all that boring school stuff. Yay! Very Happy Now what? Um... Let's go to my social life.

I've got Shanko bugging me, some freako keeps calling my cell... Done. xD

How about romance? James is still my husband, we went hunting earlier, but we had to get my wedding ring sized, so I don't have it until February 13th.

Dillon's birthday. I can't believe I remember that. I heard it once, and now it's stuck in my head. That seems interesting, how his birthday is so close to Valentine's Day. Does that have to do with why he's so easy to fall for? Or is it his horoscope sign? Or is it... Just because? Whatever the reason, I still admire him. He can be smart and cool and musical and athletic and able to absorb taunts and.... Perfect. I'm just smart with my stupid moments, nerdy, random, a tad sensitive, evil--but what he is? Anything but.

I can't say much about Chase anymore, 'cause he isn't in any of my classes. sad But I still see him in the hallways--not that he talks to me or anything... But he's still cute. Smile Nobody else thinks the same way. Some stupid people.

And Jack. I don't crush on him anymore, but I wonder if he still wants to be my friend. He sure does act like it. Or he's just an all around nice guy. You see, that's what awesome about Jack. He can please the popular guys and the "lesser" people that are just waiting to shine. =]

I don't think I have much else to say...

So normally I'd have a playlist here, right? Well, I don't exactly have one... But if you want you can check out my singing thread, I put up a song (finally). nod

See ya guys!
