The Sown Shadow - Bringing you yesterday's news today!

Written 1/16/10 . . . yes, the day after it happened. xP
Nicklaus has yet to learn that when you go to teen club, everybody there is your friend.
We got dropped off at the Atearas’ house . . . we were sposed to leave for the ‘Swan’ place, which is like half an hour away from the Atearas, and teen club starts at 7 . . . but for some reason, though we even showed up at 6:15, we ended up not leaving until seven. xP
It wasn’t so bad, though. Joey (who was a little quiet at first, but thankfully started talking, unlike what Mark who is sick would’ve done), Danielle, Joe, and Jamie were all there. I realized it can be nice to actually have a serious conversation once in a while . . . and just had the revelation that maybe I only act insane around my closest friends. o.0 Cus Ann wasn’t there this time . . . and I was fairly . . . well, to be honest, more myself than I usually am.
Weird.
Well, we got into this discussion about music, like which artists play the real music for that genre and stuff like that. Jamie was saying that typical country these days isn’t really country . . . so I’m just thinking, “Ha, I bet I’m not even country.” *shrug* I don’t really know what I am. xD But he says Taylor Swift is a pop star more than a country artist . . . so . . . in a way that makes sense, but I still like to think of her as country.
The problem is that there’s just not enough genres.
Other random stuff happened . . . we were talking about this awesome-sounding game called Things, which is where there’s something like “Things You Should Never Do in Your Livingroom.” The Ateras were relating some of their games . . . one of those particular things was “open a portal to ‘heck’”. Guess who did that one? xD
We watched this awesome movie called The Ultimate Gift. :3 It was pretty Christian, in a way, but not like directly so, and it was just awesome. x3 It had good morals and stuff, and I enjoyed it.
I named my car Jed . . .
And, that’s about all that happened that was significant. xD
Then, I had this dream where I was using the computer . . . I kept going on Mweor and Runescape. And, for some reason, Runescape had an option when you clicked on living things to go up and let them kill you. xP It was suuuucky.
Oh, there actually is one more significant thing - did anyone else see that Batman burger thing from MLIA in one of Ratty's blogs? Well, I've been telling everyone about that now, and when I told Joe, he was delighted.
Now we've both agreed to order one the next time we go to Burgerking. And we had a debate over who was gonna end up doing it first . . . he's only been there two times in his life, it turns out, but they were boht in the past month, and I haven't gone in months. xD

Taylor Swift is probably considered a crossover artist, I think. I remember her first crossover song was Teardrops on my Guitar, and I fell in love with that song the first time I heard it, but that was about a year before it became pop.
