Peal's fingers drummed on the outside of the car as they pulled into the airport.
"Peal no go!" A woman said in the front seat. She turned towards Peal and tears ran down her face. Her bottom lip was stuck out in a pouting manner.
"Peal has to go." Peal said. "Bob will take care of Darta."
Darta broke into sobs and stepped out of the car. Bob got out quickly and grabbed her. He kissed the top of her head. "Go." He mouthed to Peal.
Peal grabbed her luggage and raced into the airport. She quickly boarded her plane and sighed. She opened the cover on the window she sat beside, and saw her mother racing towards the plane, Bob right behind. He caught up and grabbed Darta, pulling her away from the plane as it took off. Peal heard the scream even through the screen-her mother shouting gibberish...again.
Peal wiped a stray tear away.
