STOP

Silence the screams filling our ears
The horrific notes bouncing off the walls
Out of town, come look for me
Please, hurry, time's flying by

Stop the flames in the tracks of their carnage
Terror arising from the raging colors
Overcome the heat, stand up to the fire
Pretend there's nothing but the two of us

In fact, just for the sake of the scene
Time itself should be frozen in place

So venture forward one more step
To resist right now would be a fatal mistake
One more second and you're out of time
Panic aside, take the chance...

It's all over now
Take a look around

After all is said and all is done
Love, even, is all gone...
Love, ours remains.
