Dear God,
Nothing ever seems alright
Mom and Dad always fight
I'm trying hard to hold on tight
Do you hear my prayer tonight?
Love,

Dear God,
Why does nothing ever change?
Nothing seems to be receding
All the bad still remains
Do you hear my pleading?

They said it wasn't meant to be
They said it's not my fault
They said they both still love me
