Burning Violets

Flowers are eaily bowed, twisted and angled
But two things that stand like stone:
Is your kindness in another's troubles,
And courage in your own.

Flowers live through efflorescence,
But we live with faith to make mountains fall,
but if we lack love then we are nothing at all.
We can give away everything we posses,
but without love then we have no happiness.

To them their homes are grassy places or outside gardens,
Our houses are made of bricks and beams,
but to us a home is made of love and dreams.

Flowers and humans are nothing alike,
Because humans can fade away
Leaving without a sound
Except for their hearts shattering
As they hit the ground.

It must be nice not to feel the kind of pain humans do,
It's easy to see that we're burning, and not the violets...
