The Dragon Emporium, Book 1: Secrets to be Told [NEW PART, CLOSE PLEASE!]

Alissa turned over, pulling the blanket over her head when she heard them arguing. She was tired, and she needed at least five minutes of sleep.

Seth peaked in her room and glared at Thomas, his voice becoming a whisper "Shut up! You almost woke her up!"
"Oh, I'm sorry that I almost woke up your girlfriend!" Thomas hissed, crossing his arms
"You know what, if you woke her up you better be ready to run" Seth was clearly not in a good mood today, and Thomas was making it worse.

Alissa's eyes fluttered open, and she yawned, stretching out her arms. She rubbed her eyes, hopping out of the bed, and drifting over to the door. She poked her head out of the room, "Hey guys." She greeted.

[brb, showa!]

"Look! You woke her up!" Seth said, glaring at his little brother
"Did not! Tell him Alissa!" He said, looking over at her

Alissa took Seth's hand, looking confused, "Neither of you woke me up, I had a bad dream." She replied.

"Ohh" Seth said "Sorry Thomas" He said, scratching his neck with his free hand
Thomas smiled "Hi Alissa"

Tim reached up and pulled at his curtains. They parted, showing a
perfect view of where she and Warren had been sitting. He gave her
another faint smile. "You're lucky," he murmured. Secretly--waaaay deep
down in his heart--he still sorta loved her. But he'd never say it.
Warren would murder him.

{he-he-he...TWIST!}

"Why do you say that?" She asked him. Deep, deep down, she still had some feelings for him, but she would never say that.

He sighed softly and looked away. "The person you love is still alive..." he grimaced and put his head in his hands.

Alissa smiled in return, waving with her free hand at Thomas, "Hey Thomas," She greeted. "How are things?" She asked.

Hope pursed her lips and sighed, awkwardly hugging him

"Eh, wierd as always" He said with a sigh
Seth just rolled his eyes slightly.

Tim's face shot red, but he didn't pull away. He shut his eyes and sighed, too, a shaky sort of sigh.

Alissa smiled at the two, but smiled affectionately at Seth, her thumb tracing circles on the back of his hand like she usually did. "Weird?" She asked, "In what way?" Little did she know, that she had a long cut running down her back.

"Seeing things" He muttered, looking at the ground.


Hope pulled away and stared at the ground

He sifted uneasily. "It's getting late, Hope," he mumbled, looking up at her and then away.

Alissa blinked worriedly at Thomas, "That's not good." She muttered, touching her back. When she looked at her hand, her eyes widened when she found that her fingers were stained with crimson.

Seth looked down, eyes growing wide as well "What the bloodyy...." He said

Thomas just stared at her hand, eyes normal sized as if he had seened worse.


Hope sighed "I'm guessing you want me to leave then"

"If you want to go," he said quietly with a shrug, still not looking at her. He strangled his heart down, a soft pink blush on his cheeks.

Alissa let out a yelp searing pain ripped through her body. She then crumpled to the floor, and blacked out.

Hope sighed, taking that as a yes he wanted to her to leave and hurried out of the room.

"Alissa!" Seth said, leaning down and picking her up before running towards the hospital wing
Thomas was just standing there, staring at the spot with now wide eyes.

"'Night," he groaned, falling backwards into a laying down position. "That....went....horribly...."

Alissa remained limp in Seth's arms, her breathing very slow.

Dr. Basement rushed towards the two as soon as he spotted them, "Set her down over there," He told Seth, pointing at a hospital-type bed.

Thomas slowly walked into Alissa's room, just to check if anything was in there.

On her nightstand, there was a piece of glass, in the shape of a tooth...

Alissa's eyes fluttered open weakly when the doctor pulled out a piece of glass from her back. Quietly, he began to stitch the long cut up. She let out a yelp.
