Life Isn’t A Fairytale

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could have been your Cinderella,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But the shoe you gave me to wear,
Was much too big for me to fill.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Snow White,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But your love was a poisoned apple,
And I should’ve never taken a bite.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Beauty Belle,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But your charismatic looks fooled me,
You were a beast inside, not outside.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Little Mermaid,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But you were worse than the sea witch,
The spell you cast on me proves that.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Princess Jasmine,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But you were obviously not Aladin,
Instead you were more like Jafar.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Sleeping Beauty,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But you wouldn’t fight the queen for me,
I wasn’t worth the effort, I was only being used.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Mulan,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But you thought I was foolish for dreaming,
And I should just listen to what you told me.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Pocahontas,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But you wouldn’t risk the social suicide,
Because you thought I wasn’t good enough.

If life was a fairytale,
And you were Prince Charming,
I could’ve been your Princess Tiana,
I could’ve been your happy ending,
But I expected you to change when we kissed,
And I realized you were still selfish and conceited.

Because life isn’t a fairytale,
And the story never ends as,
Happily ever after.
And the story only ends as,
Happily never after!

I love it! I'm so glad you did Pocahontas(I'm a nerd when it comes to Disney Princesses xD) Also for Ariel you could've referred to her losing her voice... Just an idea (: I really love it. By far my favorite poem on this site lol.
