Sunrise

The flat gray wall,
specked with glittering,
peeking eyes.
A woman,
dressed in blushing rose pinks,
and creamy yellows.
Slowly,
the twinkling eyes fade,
replaced by an evanescent light.
Hesitantly,
the folds of her dress reach out,
and light up the gray.
Quietly,
leaves and branches stand out in perfect detail,
as they're lit from above.
And now the creases of the fabric,
fall softly around the world,
nestling it in her embrace of warmth.
And now,
it is morning,
and the sun has banished the night.
