[new announcement] Rose, Mist, Bramble, Storm, Half, Vamp, and Were

(V) The Vampclan cats heard the howl and raced over, ignoring the borders. "What happened?" "Is she alright?" "Can he move?" The two of them started spweing out questions.

"I have no idea," Blazefeather told them quickly. An idea came to him and he laid a paw experimentally on her stomach. "Eagleflight, have you been having any stomach pains, fatigue, strange cravings or anything like that for the past few moons?"
"Why?" she spat, not because she was angry, but because of her pain.
"Eagleflight...I think you might be pregnant."
"WHAT?!"

(V) Flickertail's eyes got wide and he looked a little queasy now. "Shouldn't we take her to a medicine cat or something?"

"Unless you're prepared to make assumptions!" Bloodclaw added, not sure what she was supposed to do.

Eagleflight began to pant heavily and laid her head down on the leafy floor. "Oh Blazefeather, what am I gonna do now?"
"I would answer that if I were a medicine cat." [HEY THAT RHYMES. He's a poet and he didn't even know it!]

(Rofl! Nice, real nice xD)

"Why don't we take her to one then? Roseclan's the closest," Flickertail noted, pointing his head at the tree where Roseclan began.

Bloodclaw nodded her head, "Blazefeather could you help me get her over there?"

Blazefeather nodded and heaved her onto his back. She wrapped her paws around his neck reassuringly, and he padded beside her. "I'm ready to go."

(V) Bloodclaw murmered something to her brother and took off ahead of him. Flickertail nodded his head forward and started to direct them.

"She's going to make sure no one kills us or something like that..."

Blazefeather followed him, Eagleflight still panting heavily.

(v) flickertail picked through the bramble after his sister. the clearing was up ahead. 'almost there.'

Blazefeather nodded. Eagleflight's body tensed with pain as she squeezed her eyes shut, hoping it would all end soon, whatever it was.

(R) From the gorse came a tiger-striped she-cat, pushing everyone else out of the way, "Take her into here," she nodded her head off to a cave made out of bouldes and such.

Blazefeather followed her instructions and padded in, lying Eagleflight down on a bed of moss. She continued to pant heavily and let out another yowl of pain.

(R) Snowstorm brushed the tomcat aside and bent down beside the queen. She handed her a mouthful of borage leaves and directed her to chew.

"What a time for my apprentice to be gone..." she thought but shook her head. In all her time here she'd birthed several hundred kittens, this was no different.

Eagleflight chewed on the bitter leaves. She stifled a yowl as another painful contraction tore through her body, then began breathing heavily once more.

[BRB, my stupid brat sister wants to get on.]

(R) "Keep your breathing even," she instructed her and looked around the room groaning a bit. "Did you just start feeling the contractions?"

Eagleflight nodded, trying to keep her breathing even and struggling.

(Can we just skip to beautiful kits born? LOL)

[Alright cool] Eagleflight looked at the five kits curled up beside her belly. She looked at them in awe.

(R) Snowstorm smiled at the queen and the kits. "Well, congratulations," she turned her attention to an apprentice, giving him orders to bring food into the den.

Blazefeather's whiskers twitched. "I'm a father..." he murmured softly. He wondered how the clan would react to kits from two of the lowest members.

(V) "Congrats," Flickertail nodded to the tom. Both he and his sister had stepped out of the cave for the process... So much blood around and them on an empty stomach.

"They're beautiful," purred Bloodclaw.
