I swallowed hard, nodding. I started running fast, as fast as my legs could take me away from Jake. I was lost, scared, and upset.

I took off in the opposite direction. This time, there would be no fighting. This time, I wouldn't kill.

Or so I told myself.

Three minutes later, I stopped. The moon was rising, I could tell. I was very far in the forest, though moonlight started to bathe me. My shriek echoed around me, I felt a horrible tremor rack my spine. MY vision was replaced, I could see better, my shriek turned into a howl, my skin turned into a pelt.
I morphed into a werewolf.

The change was just as horrible as it always was. Within seconds, my human consciousness was gone, whisked away helplessly and crammed into some tiny crevice at the back of my mind. The wolf took over.

It howled, watching its surroundings. The wolf howled again, moving forward.

I threw my head back in an answering howl before taking off, huge paws pounding on the Forest floor. The wolf had one thought:

Fight. Kill. Blood.

I shook my head, fighting for control. But it was stronger than me, myself, my being.

The wolf sensed a stronger one approaching, and it jumped, howling, and continuing running. When the other werewolf was in sight, it crouched, out for blood.

The wolf howled, hitting the wolf in midiar, and tumbling to the ground. It flashed its claws, going for the other wolf's leg.

Jake-wolf sunk its teeth into Ophelia-wolf's shoulder, snarling.

Jake-wolf growled and shoved Ophelia-wolf away.

Ophelia-wolf growled preparing to jump again. But then it turned, hearing something loud. It whipped around, seeing movement.

[Could something attack them? xD I can’t think of anything besides Centaurs….]

Jake-wolf took advantage of Ophelia-wolf's distraction and leapt.

Ophelia-wolf darted to the side, avoiding Jake-wolf, and threw its head back, howling.

The instincts forced Jake-wolf to return the howl, overpowering the urge to fight.

The crunching of leaves made it look up, ignoring Jake-wolf, and taking a step back. Ophelia-wolf sensed a much stronger creature prowling towards them.

I know; I did the same thing on WI. I like this Hogwarts better though; it’s not as busy, and I never have to search for the last post.]
