Lena: I put down my pad with a wistful sigh and drew my blinds. Just before I got back into bed I remembered to tear the pages out of my sketchpad and folded them up carefully, burying them at the back of my closet with the bag of socks. Just in case.

Lena: I woke up to the sound of my mother knocking on the door. "Lena!" she yelled through the wood. "Wake up! Mrs. Sirpreger is teaching you, Katie, and Michael this morning!"

Michael: My alarm sounded and I begrudgingly ((Saddle spell that wrong xD)) got ready for school.

Lena: Grumbling, I rolled out of bed, grabbed an outfit from on top of my dresser, and disappeared into the bathroom for a quick five minute shower.

Michael: I slowly got ready. When I got to shoes, I realized my shoe was still outside. I shrugged and grabbed another pair.

Michael: I walked down to the kitchen and made myself a bowl of cereal in silence. I had never been a morning person.

Lena: I quickly popped a few slices of rye bread into the toaster, grabbing the butter dish and a carton of orange juice from the fridge and pouring a portion of the healthy orange liquid into a tumbler as I waited.

(This would be like my nightmare breakfast. xD I hate rye bread, I hate toast, and I hate orange juice. rolleyes

Michael: After I finished breakfast, I walked to Lena's house so we could go to school together. It was our routine.

Lena: The toaster popped. I grabbed the pieces of toast, quickly buttered them, and glanced at the microwave clock. Already late, wonderful. I gulped down the orange juice and dropped the cup in the soapy water in the sink, then ran out the door, still eating my toast.

Michael: I got to the door just as Lena threw it open and almost ran into her. I laughed, "Well hi!"
